I don't think he is accusing the waf of misconduct. He is questioning why there was a bye so deep in the brackets. We say "he should thank so and so" as another way of saying he got lucky with his draw.
One might say, "Tom should thank Denise for his win in billings because he got an easy draw." That's not accusing Denise of misconduct, just another way we in America talk trash.
That's how I took it atleast......

You being a "Saudi national champ" should know the organization and person you beat that allowed said organization to award you your "title". Who did you beat and through what org? did you start this thread to deflect attention because someone called into question your claims to a national title? I think so

This thread was started by you in an attempt to smear an American National Champion IMO. He did not levy any allegations against anyone. You are losing the context in translation,
Tom is merely talking trash about this particular winner,
You original quote can be translated like this... "if it had been any other draw the guy would have lost."
There are a hundred ways to state the same thing in many languages. A type of "slang" if you will.

The Unified uses a draw system where you draw your number which places you on the bracket so it is truly luck of the draw. The Unified uses traditional brackets WAF staff sets the order of the matches but they do not know who the pullers are, just what country. As for why there is a bye in the 4th round.........the WAF does not use brackets. The WAF uses draw sheets not a bracket, so they do not give byes until they have to. So lets say there is 40 in your weight class. In a traditional bracket there would be 24 byes first round and by the second round it would be trimmed down to 32 pullers then 3rd round 16, fourth round 8, 5th round 4, 6th round 2 then the 7th round would be the finals . In a WAF draw sheet it looks like this for a 40 sheet
1st round 40 2nd 20 3rd 10 4th 5 with a bye 5th 3 with a bye 6th 2 7th finals
Each gives you 39 matches on the A side but in a traditional bracket the A side byes are all in the first round and the WAF draw sheet........they can come in the end of rounds. Dixon, on another note. Are you trying to cause controversy? If not then why are you posting inflammatory posts like this? If you are curious about how the system works then post questions but you are showing a pattern of causing controversy. JMO

JMO WAF went to using an electronic bracking system about 3-4 years ago, no more draw sheets...so getting a bye later in the game is crazy...

Dixon is NOT a national champion. He refuses to state "anyone" whom he defeated on his quest for the title. He may be the only armwrestler active in Saudia Arabia. My 2 cents.

They have not advertised this fact but WAF paid big bucks to get a custom computer system that mirrors their draw sheet design.........so no the only thing crazy is this system that WAF has.

i expect many more to join this discussion...
eg. if a person says there was unfair draw in a tournament organised by me ,i would be curious to know how it happened and what is the reality and how can that be avoided in future events .
