I think there was a little money on it.. maybe 100 dollars I believe. I'm sure we all hope everything is fine with Joe, it would of been nice to let George know he wasn't gonna make it if that was an option... vs just not showing..

I HATE when people say "i didnt have time to call"!!! It takes 30 friggin seconds. PATHETIC. There is NOTHING that should stop a 30 second phone call...NOTHING

I've never known Joe to duck anybody, and I think he'd much rather lose than stand everyone up.

My gut feeling is some bad stuff went down that made communication impossible, but time will tell. Until then I'll reserve judgment.

I want to start off this post with a sincere apology to everyone who expected me to be at this event. Especially George, the tournament directors and my training partner. There is no excuse for acting so irresponsible and not contacting anyone to let them know I wasn't going to be attending this event. This sport means damn near everything to me, its usually all I think about. Had the last few weeks not been such a nightmare I would have been at this event ready to pull. I'm glad to see the tournament went well and from what I can tell from the results George surely would've beaten me.

I'm sure everyone wants to know why I have been MIA and unfortunately for the last few weeks I have had to watch someone very close to me slowly leave this world. To say that I have been in shock would be an understatement. Up until a few days ago I haven't been in contact with anyone so I apologize to anyone that I have ignored and I hope nobody takes this personally because I have been doing it to everyone including my closest friends. I even did a no call no show at work and ended up losing my job. I could have easily called one of you guys to let you know I wasn't going to be there. But at the time none of this seemed to matter and all of my responsibilities flew out the window, all of my rationale was consumed by the pain of losing someone who has been by my side since the day I was born.

I defineately regret the decisions

that I have made. But now at least all of you know my reasoning for not being in contact with any of you. This would've been the 7 challenge match I had in the last few years and it is the first and last I will be absent from.
