i dont doubt about Devon's courage,i just believe that someone should bring the beasts to face eachother so that i will not have all that sh.t about the rankings of people who has never met eachother but guessed to be better than other depending on the guesser's nationality.

Devon pulling Jerry and Denis in the same weekend would be AWSOME!!! Not Devon vs Voevoda and Denis vs Travis but you can't get closer to that.

i have some special information for you here: www.armpower.net/index.php?page=newsmore&id=1867some free translation (by google translate): Nemiroff 2010 was a success Denis Cyplenkova on both hands. Success, as always, "has many fathers," and therefore immediately after the tournament, appeared on websites, forums, and in the minds of people associated with our sport interesting ideas. One such idea was a duel between Dennis and Devon Larratt Cyplenkovem. This duel would be held in London on 17-20 December 2010. Interesting for all is the scale at which one began to talk about this fight. There have been images of the faces of both players, they began to think over who will win and which hand (the duel was to take place in the system of 6 rounds first on the left and then right hand). There are also a provocation on the part of the originators of this tournament and the Devon Larratt and asked if Denis would agree to a duel. Our editorial staff is aware of the interesting information. Since we are always hungry for such sensational news, let me quote a few statements. (Quotations are taken from the pages listed at the end of the topic) Denis Cyplenkov: "так уж сложилось что без разрешения ПАЛ я на это не пойду..." "Так уж сложилось что без разрешения ПАЛ я на это не пойду ..." explaining: "It so happens that, without the consent of the PAL I said I will not go ..." друзья интересно сколько бы вы предложили мне за бой с ЛАРАТОМ-ДЛЯ СРАВНЕНИЯ" explaining: "The whole thing is not ranked.'m Also interested. No but I should prepare for this and it takes time. We are also curious about how much you propose to fight Larrattem. " explaining: "Ridiculous they are, tell them that I have my principles and priorities of their orders ... I will not do anything ... the first preparation for me lasts 3 months, 2 to the rest of the new year, 3 Devon Larratt for 2.5 years do not show up. why should I fight him I do not understand. Pas yet it is in John Brzenka " Igor Mazurenko telephone speech: "It seems to me that Neil Pickup not fully thought through his idea. Cyplenkov Denis is not a random person and I think he needs something more. It seems to me that such a struggle, they would fight between Dennis and Devon need a suitable Media and organizational shell. I am convinced that Denis is not sufficient promise that if the match will be pretty, it can fly at the station Euro-Sport. In addition, a hint that the pre-agreed Denis Cyplenkov principles of cooperation with the company and Igor Mazurenko FitMax. I think that in the coming days, officials such information will be published. " źrĂ³ło forum.steelfactor.ru/index.php?showtopic=13428&st=1700

I think it would be a boring match and Devon would handily win.

Thank you Marcin,
In response to this message I would like to clarify a few points.
Despite any suggestions to the contrary I had actually thought things through fully and I don't feel that there is any real need to over complicate matters here as ultimately it is what it is and that specifically is a pre recorded and subsequently televised Professional Armwrestling match.
Whilst this may appear extremely complex to others, I personally don't see it as such. I have a degree of natural prowess in this area and am comfortable enough with the concept that I successfully generate a 26 minute show every week currently across Europes largest sports channel.
The current condition and availablility of both athletes was another consideration, Devon's had been confirmed and the proposal to Denis was intended to acertain whether or not he was also available. Apparently he is not.
This was a proposal nothing more nothing less, why that is perceived as ridiculous, I am frankly unsure. These men are both Armwrestlers therefore I don't personally find the concept of proposing and Armwresling match too unusual.
I also do not understand what is meant by provocation ? I can only speak for myself however I personally have in no way provoked Denis and have simply made a proposal for what I believe would be an interesting match up on both Arms. The only thing that I have spoken about was in defense of Devon Larratt in terms of his willingness to face the most Elite Armwrestlers in the World.
As for "a fitting media shell" or platform as we would term this in English, I find this comment slightly strange also as I would have to suggest that Europes largest free to view sports channel, which is currently airing International Armwrestling in 65 countries to an audience of over 230 million people is a pretty reasonable platform. It is certainly the largest media platform that the sport of Armwrestling has seen in its 46 year history.
I am sorry that Denis is unwilling or unable to contest the match with Devon Larratt in December and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours in the sport. If the issue is his preparation and he needs longer to do so than I would be prepared to discuss a mutually viable date in 2011.
Finally just to clarify matters in relation to PAL there was no intended conflict of interest here as I had in fact actually proposed a PAL Vs ARM WARS Super Heavyweight World Title Unification bout ie. to find the undisputed Professional Super Heavyweight Champion of the World.
On the contrary therefore I actually felt that the extention of this exceptional media opportunity would actually inhance the exposure for PAL whom I have quite clearly supported to the fullest of my abilities for many years now.
To summarize therefore I have no criticism to make of either Denis Cyplenkov or PAL both of whom I admire and respect and I am sorry that they have declined to accept this perfectly well intensioned proposal of a Pan European televised Professional Armwrestling match.
I wish Denis and all at PAL as well as their respective families all the very best for the Festive period and I would like to congratulate Denis on a excellent performance at this years Nemiroff World Cup in Sopot, Poland
Regards

Devon just enjoy being at the top of the armwrestling world and relax! you have beat John,Ron,Travis,Randall and Tim in Supermatches and you absolutely have nothing to prove.you proved that you are ready to armwrestle anyone on this earth and on the neighbour planets.
i hope Jerry will accept pulling you.he armwrestled&beat John who surely was in better shape than how he was at Zloty.so this would be the best match that world can see right now!

This is disappointing for sure But I must hand it to Neil Pickup for after all these disappointments and difficulties his response is an example of discipline and of professional spirit in his status even though I'm sure there are other words also in his mind. So who knows maybe in the future? Personally I think Devon would dominate Denis (right handed) and it is unfortunate that business aspects and money can be used as an excuse to not do what an arm wrestler is supposed to be doing. Arm wrestle. Also it is understandable to enjoy for a moment for a great victory but still there is a slight vibe of fear which is also understandable when the opponent is Devon Larratt. As fans of the sport there seems to be many disappointments and even some upsets coming our way. But let's not forget that there are many more maybe even more interesting match ups on offer and we can be assured we have one great individual and lover of the sport to organize those in the future in Neil Pickup. Thanks Neil. And cheers.

What a lame post, Marcin. All you, or Denis, needed to say is that he is going to take some time off right now and rest, but thanks for the offer. Oh no, I hope someone doesn't try and set up a match that everyone wants to see. Neil's event changed, so he wasn't sure if Jerry was going to come to London. Lord forbid he offers a spot to Denis. And lets not talk about anyone not showing up for anything. Zloty is a great (one of the best if not the best) tournys in the world, but that's the only thing I've really notice that Denis pulls. So what you are saying is if anyone good wants to pull Denis, they have to go to Zloty or it has to be a PAL event?

What Mr. Mielniczuk posted reminds me of the politics that have almost destroyed the entire sport of boxing.

Maybe I'm all wrong. What I read between the lines is that Denis is under some form of contract with Igor and somebody feels they were cut out of the negotiation. Call it sponsorship if you like, but this tiny sport of ours cannot feed the financial appetite of every person who tries to cling on to the few individuals who can draw fans.
Then again, internet translation sites being what they are I could be all wrong.
