When I am in charge of Pro Armwrestling, (only a matter of time), signing the best armwrestlers to exclusive deals will surely be a must!
Right after a quick stop in Salt Lake to sign the "PERFECT STORM" I will be headed directly to South Carolina to secure the rights to both Chad Silvers and Matt Harris!!! In my opinion these are the beat lightweight armwrestlers in the USA....
They are always ready to fight (Hook, Top, Straps), have a quiet Confidence, and they are somehow always overlooked!!!
I'd like to thank them both for being a shinning example for Professional Armwrestlers!!!
Both were terrific at the UAL II

Matt and Chad are tuff and very respectful of their fellow armwrestlers. They would be a great addition to your elite club. Good luck to you Travis

Chad Silvers & Matt Harris are BOTH excellent Armwrestlers FACT.
Both Warriors FACT.
Maybe they have not been overlooked however ! maybe instead just placed onto a list, (along with numerous others) waiting to be matched well (I've also been a HUGE Chad Silvers fan for 12+years).
The reason they have been seemingly overlooked despite there obvious calibre and versatility in competition Travis, is the exact same reason that you yourself rarely have been, despite your apparent lack of it.
People are drawn to your confidence (reference line one of your post) whether justified or otherwise, your charisma, residual wit and often Dark, whilst slightly tongue in cheek and endearingly honest humour.
Rustam Babyev and Arsen Liliaev are reasonably solid too I hear and the list goes on yet they also feature less in TV competition than people might expect BUT the response of R.V.J. (& the fact that I can feel the Chaos inside of him and KNOW that he means every word of it) is the reason that I personally have already knocked on his door twice and that I am waiting for him to be READY for me to do so again.
Chad Silvers and Matt Harris are stand out exponents of our sport and as The Mouth rightly points out they deserve to be recognized as such, as do so many others BUT all who read this thread should recognize that if we REALLY want to get the sport to a far greater level of acceptance, so that Travis can run it, then ALL the ingrediants for selected matches must be right.
Styles make matches and diverse character makes entertainment and mass audience appeal, both the Darkness and the Light MUST be reflected in the right measure respectively.
The perhaps unfortunate, yet stark reality is that, the Stone from which athletes like Matt Harris and Chad Silvers are made is often BEST utilized to build A SOLID HOUSE once the foundations have been layed and people have both noticed and to some extent accepted the sport.
If you are searching for examples of this, then reference the evolution of the UFC.
The earlier Events were BRUTAL & CHAOTIC making the World sit up and take notice. Now that the sport is established the consumate Professionals (of which there are far more) have become the standard, whilst the Chaotic Shooting Stars continue to do what only they can, by providing that rare and fragile spark of Genius from time to time.
Good Post Travis. I hope that you and your Family are well, you were at your best in L.A. right there alongside Mr. Silvers and Mr. Harris.
Chad, if you are reading this I already have your man picked out for June or July in either Marbella or England & I've already spoken to a potential opponent for Matt following our recent discussions in Casey's Irish Pub, L.A.
Cheers
Neil

Thank you Mac, I hope that you and yours are well, I have to admit, you confused me a little at UAL II as I seem to recall the first words I think you personally said to me were "I was wrong about you............you are OK !" that was strange to me for two reasons, firstly I was not actually aware that you knew much, if really anything, about me, as to the best of my knowledge we had not really ever met and secondly I'd not actually been aware that you had initially either thought I was a Dick or that I was basically pretty useless ;D Either way, I think everyone in L.A. noticed that you like to pull with intensity and its evident you are clearly extremely passionate about the sport due in part to the huge volume of posts that you contribute to or start on the NE Board. For me, the most important thing that I noticed about you Mac, was that the young Boy (I felt that this must be your son) who was sat in the crowd wearing a white STOP SIGN T Shirt was a Mac Telle NUT ! To me, that was priceless and told me far more about you than anything your actions at the table or comments made to me in our few brief verbal exchanges possibly could have. So, following on from your own introduction to me in L.A. I would have to say back to you that, I hadn't actually formed an opinion of you in L.A. as we had never had the pleasure of meeting BUT any thoughts about you that I may have started to form were based upon the fact that potentially the single most important person that ANY MAN can have in their life obviously percieves you as a HERO. Your focus is clearly in the right place a lot of the time Mr. Telle and I hope that as my son grows up I can be lucky enough to have him feel the same way about me, as the Boy in the Stop Sign shirt clearly does about you. Keep the Hunger mate, I wish you success in your endeavours at the table and I look forward to meeting you and potentially even discovering more about who the real Mr. Telle is further down the track Cheers Neil
