Here's an idea for armwrestlers and promoters alike: All future events where piles of money are supposedly dropping from the sky should should show the promised payout in an escrow account, along with a single line contract that all cash is to be paid regardless of any and all circumstances. Margie Ciaccio nailed it in her response to the thread "Vegas Event Investor Issues" when she said "The ones that lost out on their investment were the armwrestlers. A few well-known armwrestlers promoted this tournament as well, and this doesn't exactly shed a good light on them either.I cannot believe the time, training, money and heart that so many armwrestlers had poured into attending this event just to have it all taken away from them 3 days before the tournament." full post: armwrestlersonly.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/we-must-support-events-but-with.html

Below is the "WEASEL" clause in Marvins advertisement. I agree with Leonard's statements. I knew in my heart this Tournament would never happen as Marvin is the World's best con man in my opinion. Also one of the worst...oops......Can't say that. His first con job in armwrestling was about 1973 is when he came to Petaluma to see me and Bill Soberanes around the time I did my first tournament at the MGM in VEGAS.

For instance, what does "upon the posting thereof" imply? Posted where? On a yellow sticky note on his fridge? change, modify, or otherwise alter? How many ways can you absolve yourself from an agreement? I think he left out "abandonment of all guarantees, liabilities, or promises to any effect, person, entity, or place... animal, plant, or mineral- under any circumstance" BTW, it is great to hear from you, Dave.
