i would love to pull harold ive watched him over the years beat some amazing pullers, he also looked unstoppable in the NE, so i will continue to train for pullers with the ability of harold and have nothing but respect for his abilities, i will be doing my best to make both harley and tahoe, im working on sponsors right now; an E4 doesnt make much money to fly all over ya know

I don't know how "in or out" of shape Harold was at that NE tournament but he did very well. He was also unable to toproll Ken Mckinney, though he did beat him twice with very good technique and patience in a hook. I guess what I'm thinking is that if Mr. Mckinney did such a good job of turning Harold inside then my guess is that Mr. Dye might be able to do the same. If Brandon Dye did turn him inside then I don't think he could hold him and pull through in the same manner. This could be a very intense matchup and I hope we get to see it.

My right is a whole different ball game... although you are correct and very observant!!

Harold is a great puller, father, husband and person overall! He has a great hand and is fast, He will win! Harold is known to beat the unbeatable and to lose against who he should beat! Again Harold will be the winner!..... Happy B-DAY bro if I dont see you! Steve Thanks bro!! It would be cool if you could make it down!

This one is very interesting... Best of three could be brutal.
I would comment more but I like both these guys and I don't want to give away some insight to one or the other.

Like Harold said the hook matches you are referring to where left handed. I also pulled Harold right handed, we a battled a little bit on top and then we slipped and Harold owned me in the straps. Now I have never pulled Brandon. So for me to give my opinion would be tough. I have seen Brandon pull and he looks strong in a hook. But Harold has a huge hand and he too has a strong hook. He pulled after the NAA event with Flori Dutra in a hook and had no trouble handling him. I think it would be an interesting match, and I too would like to see it happen. Good luck fellas. ;D

Harold does have big mitts! I would guess that the longer this match-up waits, the more it favors Brandon.........

Harold has never done much strength training but as of late it has been a focus. A Harold Ryden with muscles would be scary!! He is already strong with just the bones and tendons he already has!

Overall a good analysis here, but you don't know how strong McKinney is. Even if Brandon gets it inside, Harold (in my opinion because I don't know exactly how strong Brandon is) still wins. For McKinney to have stopped Harold from top rolling him, he had to have ridiculous hand and wrist strength. I'd like to see McKinney vs. Dye first.

Harold wins 3-0 right handed and I have no idea left handed.

I'm from the northwest and have seen Brandon pull in several tourny's and have seen him go against very fast and strong top rollers. I've seen them take him to about an inch of the pad when he stopped them and with pure side pressure swept them straight across the table. I have never seen Harold pull in person, but even if he is faster and has a stronger wrist Brandon will stop him and sweep him.JMO
