I was watching the tube and saw this sports show that basically breaks down each motion done by an athlete and gives basic stats on how much force is applied for each movement. They had Rampage Jackson slamming a guy to the floor measuring g forces etc and a pro football player hitting another player to measure contact forces. I think it would be cool if they could do a similiar test for our best armwrestlers and show just how much torque and force is being applied at the "hit". would be very interesting to see the results I think.

I am more interested in the lbs per square inch factor like the pressure of a piston and how much is exerted at the "go". maybe woody can get some of his hits put on youtube for those people not having armtv yet.

I think someone that would hit into a hook very hard would have the highest amount of force than a toproll hit. What do ya'll think?

Cobra's top roll hit to the pad would have an enormous amount of force at the hit. His whole body comes off the ground with the hit. I have seen what i call shock breaks from someone hitting with the entire body and getting stopped in the center of the table.

You know you might be right Leonard. Maybe force would be more than power in a measuring situation? depends on the speed of the hit though. How about a hook hit from Kevin Hicklin?

Could be, I don't know. It seem to me that if you weight 165 and hit with all that weight, there would be more force than just what your arm can do. It would be interesting to have it measured. ;D

measureable force would be interesting...too bad we dont have any way to get this measured. would be a cool thing to be able to include in supermatches as far as spectators are concerned like they do with boxers giving arm length and hand size before matches. example:"this guy has such and such lbs per sq inch force in his hit going up against this guy that has this much force in his hit". spectators would love that info.
