It seems that this is the left handed match to see. A few people are all jacked up about the newcomer!! I really dont see Travis having any problem beating Denis. This match needs to happen so Travis can show the world who the best lefty on the planet is!!

Florian,
i hope you are not comparing Ciplenkov with August...August could never beat Pushkar as easy as Ciplenkov did.. the danger with Ciplenkov is that he is just learning how to armwrestle and his arm is getting used to ..
Ferit has pulled August and it was as fast as the match that you just posted..Ferit thinks that soon Ciplenkov will beat everyone maybe with the exception of a few incredibly strong&smart toproller such as Travis..
Travis may beat him now but if i were him i would hurry up to pull & beat him as soon as possible (not that Travis needs to prove something but only if he has any intention to pull him),because soon it may be too late to beat this guy..

Hello Engin, I'm sorry, but I'm comparing these guys And I think I can compare them, although they are - of course - not equal armwrestling strength wise. Especially because of his hand and wrist Cyplenkov has much better tools for armwrestling. Both came from strongman, both armwreslte with raw strength and didn't have the finest technique. But what we can see in this video is, that it's not a lack of armstrength which is the reason for august loosing, but lack of speed and armwrestling technique/ability. What I want to say is, that Cyplenkov may be strong enough for Travis, but it's possible to loose, if he's not quick enough at the start, despite of his strength. Ferit was very very strong in 2006 at Vegas, so losing to him, doesn't mean you are a weak armwrestler. August was the current WAF Champion back then with both hands and wins over Ryan Espey and - I think - Christian Binnie lefty too.

Ferit said even best of him can not beat Ciplenkov with arm strength, but he beat August with arm strength unlike Travis..Ferit watched the video of Ciplenkov and he thinks he is not comparable with anyone, forget about August..
August has armwrestled for some years (at least i saw him from 03 EAF till 06 vegas) but i must say that Ciplenkov already armwrestles better than August was doing (no disrespect meant)..

btw Ferit has beaten August with right arm..but Ferit also has two clean wins over Travis..but he does not believe that he can do anything against Ciplenkov with left arm..with right Ferit thinks he may have some chance with an outside move..
Ferit is sure that NO ONE can beat Ciplenkov inside, with neither arm..all these are opinions of course..only time will show the fact..

Both came from strongman, both armwreslte with raw strength and didn't have the finest technique. the main difference is that August did not have a trainer like Kote (trainer of Voevoda),neither he had training partners such as Kote,Mathusenko or Flipov..Ciplenkov is stronger, younger and luckier..

I'm not Mathusenko Engin! Matyushenko /,matiu'shenko/ Ciplenkov is really lucky with such a couch,as for the partners...I can hardly stop his left with both of my arms, he even injured my wrist when we pulled(my both hands against his left). Righty - just for now i think that Lupkes will be a great threat for him, also Bagent, Voevoda(despite his actual shape), Laratt, may be Ivakin(I don't know how he feels just now). Ismanov and Pushkar I think are a bit weaker than Denis, though not so much weaker - inside. Denis's right differs from his left. (if you tell me about Denis and Semerenko - Semerenko was after a 6round fight and was a bit tired. Also Alexey isn't in the shape he was when pulling John two years ago.

at the moment Denis has no feeling to pull, and i dont think that one day he will be a great puller...... he just use his power but doesnt have the vision of the table and the ability to pull... this comes with all heavy weight coz they dont have so many sparring partners and as well dont need to think what to do to win...except Travis that is smart on the table

If tis match happened Cyplenkov would break his arm I think..Travis would take his wrist and Cyplenkov would keep pulling and because his arm isn't conditioned it would snap big time!!! Could possibly become the 2nd most famous armwrestle in history to megga man and Magnus Samuelson! ;D

If tis match happened Cyplenkov would break his arm I think..Travis would take his wrist and Cyplenkov would keep pulling and because his arm isn't conditioned it would snap big time!!! Cyplenkov's bones appear to be unusually thick and because his hands are so strong, it would be difficult to imagine him losing his hand. I honestly think the odds him breaking an arm are slim to none. I would bet on Travis' left 99.9% of the time but this one is a little too close to call.
