I was also there that day. The ref-ing was horrible. Watch the video, no doubt Luke cannot beat RJ man to man. RJ did not leave any posts on this board, my son did. So if you want to attack someone let it be Jay Paul. However, your post had nothing to do with Jay's post. You said Im glad someone (assuming yourself) shut up RJ - that guy has an excuse for everything, Luke where I'm from that is fighting words nothing to do with armwrestling. And don't get off the call out made to you - "PUT UP OR SHUT UP" kid. And by the way, do what national champions are supposed to do, send your money and represent TEAM USA PEACE OUT - STACEY MOLINERE ;D Hello Stacey, As a referee and speaking for every referee on this earth, we'll miss calls, but if one is called theres a reason...Pullers are not used to the WAF rules, there were more fouls in this event that I've seen in a long time...rules suck but ya gotta have them...After the January 1st USAA & AWP are adopting WAF rules and we hope other do the same... Be prepared if you go to the Worlds the same rules apply, matter of fact I think I refereed one of RJ matches, hell I think it was with Luke, Rj's arm was cramping I gave him a additional time to work out the cramp, I wanted to see the two pull... With that in mind no disrespect about sticking up for the referees, were doing our job the best we can...It would be interesting to see RJ and Luke pull with out cramping...RJ has been on top of games for years and Luke is the up and coming and both guys are no joke.... In person RJ is one of the most respectful people I know and they will meet again, I'd love to have both (RJ & Luke) represent TEAM USA and take to the other countries and watch two americans battle for 1st & 2nd......

With all due respect to RJ because he still is my favorite armwrestler ever...seriously... but I do have to disagree with his boy. I think Luke pulled very well and deserves this title! Also in the match I noticed a foul going uncalled. Your shoulder may not drop below your elbow during the match.
WAF rules state;
ITEM 6
c)
Competitor’s cannot drop the competing shoulder below the level of the elbow pad when in an neutral or losing position. This will be considered a dangerous position.

Harold beat me to it, there were quite a few people yelling that that was a foul. (I was one of them) Why wasn't that called? ?

I think the better question is when HAS it been called?? very few guys can pull with any success in this position so dont see it much at events.

Its a new rule that was just added at last years Worlds. Also, not all tournaments are ran on WAF rules. I like the rule and it should be put in all local tournaments...JMO!!
