Not to step in Brandon, but I was speaking with Simon a couple days ago and this topic came up about another puller. I believe you have to pull the class you qualified in. 65 would fall under 76.

Hi Brandon, You would have to qualify in a class under 154# to pull 154# at the Arnold. Mike Selearis isn't going because his baby s due around that time.

Roman wont be beaten here. Simon may have a good plan for George and Snook will be a factor in this class for sure. With that said, George is obviously the heavy favorite to win the 76's. This is a brutal class. three TOP NOTCH top rollers in Fish, Cobra and Snook. Anywhere Simon attends he is a major factor in the outcome. I can't wait to see this event. I think Brent looks to be the favorite in the 198's but Selearis is always a factor and could upset at any time. I like Timmy to win the heavies but Lupkes is obviously the favorite with John not going and Ron Bath is always a guy that can win as well. this will be a fun class to watch as well. I have never locked up with George never even been in the same event class with him, I have been looking forward to it so I hope all goes well. I have a bag of tricks I will try out if I get the chance the least favorable of the options in the bag is me bouncing off of his arm above the pad again and again until I fry out trying to pin him. The brackets will be a huge factor in this event. Either way I am looking forward to pulling there again.

Hell Mike I don't know how to do anything else but hook....
Thanks Mike I feel a lot better now than I did in Ohio, I have just been nursing my elbow resting and getting mentally ready, right now I feel pretty good so I have high hopes to pull well.
I hope you heal up fast and I look forward to some real quality hooking..

hey Simon i read your post and i wish that match happens, just because I'm such a big fun of George and i want to see him pull everyone, I've seen George pull a lot (here in Canada) and he never pulls in his class, he usually goes to the 242s and over and if he doesn't win he comes really close, good luck to you if you guys meet and i wish i could give you an advise, i don't think you'll be able to take his hand and if you get him into a hook he is really good there too, so lets just say that i wouldn't want to be in that position (better you thatn me), oh by the way Simon !! I love your style

Thank you, if you have film of anyone pinning George I would love to see it because there is not many matches of that nature out there.
I too am a big fan of George, great guy and he has gone out and found a way to be incredibly successful, he is smart and gritty, my hat is off to him. Who in NA has pinned him twice to take an event from him at 80K over the last ten years? I really do not care for all of the negative about the guy, he is following the rules, either work hard and beat him or quit, whining that how he pulls is not fair is childish.
When was his last world championship attended and how did he fair, as far as I recall he is always in the hunt at the World events but I have not heard of tales about guys beating him since back in Canada 2003.
I still have to figure out how to get past all of the other competitors in this class, but again I am hoping it goes well and my turn at scaling Mt. George will come.
