Hi Jonas
I just got home in Canada. Charlie did well he had won several matches and made it close to the cut.
This Vegas event was well, organized and it was an AWSOME show to be a part of and watch. Every weight class had tough fought matches all day long right until the alst match. My throat is killing me LOL
It was well worth the trip. I am looking forward to it next year. Mark it on your calender to attend. The level of competition was one the best event that I have been to and some where saying tougher than a World event. Also it has something for everyone with lots to do and see as a family event.
The video production was superb. It will definate show the World that Armwrestlers are serious athletes and worthy of the recognition.
Congrates to all that placed top four, also it was really great to meet many of you folks on this board at that event. I hope to meet more in the fututre.
Anyone who made final four could have been in the number one spot. All had put it all out on the table to get these spots and it was incredible to watch it all unfold live.
Many of the onlookers where past legends of the sport, Johhny Walker, John B senior, John Wolsly, Lorie Cole ........ A real family type of event to go to.
Here are some the results I have made note of my appologies for any mis spelling adn inaccurate placing.

Nez got 5th place on the right - no details yet as he's only home tonight (monday) All I know is that he's got the old 'trainwreck' in the arm!
He lost to John and Selearis on the left.

Ray didn't beat Cobra? hmmm...funny that's not what I saw. I'm not taking anything away from Cobra, but, Ray beat him first match. Cobra complained to the ref, they were unsure of the call because one ref saw win, the other ref saw Cobra foul. So, yes Cobra did have his elbow off the back of the pad but, at the same time Ray had him to the pad. So, they had to pull again. Ray pulled him over toward the pad then Cobra had a second foul.
Shortly after pulling twice with Cobra, Ray had to pull Vern Martel from Canada. Ray was burnt.
As far as Craig Tullier.First match. He had a foul. They started them over. Then they fouled him out, said that he moved in refs grip but he didn't.
Both Ray and Craig lost there first match and had to pull all the way through the loser's bracket. Sucked..but that happens sometimes! As far as I'm concerned and according to most ppl who were there they pulled excellent.
There were no chumps at this tournament. This could have been anyones day!
Congrats to all who went and pulled there ass off!

I forgot to mention we had 3 guys pulling on Sunday.
Bryce Maux, Paul Maux and Alcied Hardgrove. Bryce is 17 he took 2 first 154's right and left. Paul took 3rd or 4th in Masters. (I don't remember). And Alcied took 2nd in 220's.
Congrats to them as well!

what you saw and what i saw might be different.cobra and i had a 10 seconds without strap match, and also had a long set up by maximum back pressures that took at least 20%of our strength away.and ray was already sent to the losers.so he pulled cobra in the losers bracket.the reason that cobra didnt wanna pull in 176s was because he didnt have enough endurance yet and he lost everything he had after pulling a few matches.then he pulled ray, then side ref gave match to ray while head ref called it strap.then leonard made the final desicion and they puled again.they slipped apart at the mid of table and they gave cobra the second foul.and this s how he lost.

Engin,
you are trying to make it look as if Ray only beat Cobra because you wore him out?
Ya Ray was put into the losers bracket his first match...therefore he pulled way more ppl in this tournament than you did because you were on the winners side of the bracket. Another thing, Ray didn't pull Cobra until way after you and Cobra had pulled. During that time Ray had several matches while working his way up.
I am in no way taking anything from Cobra. We are friends with Cobra. On the table its a competition but off the table we are still friends. Cobra is a champion and deserves credit where credit is due. But, Ray deserves credit too. Ray trains very hard, is diligent and very commited to the sport. Ray places at every tournament he pulls and deserves credit where credit is due.

Vegas….is what’s happening. I still start breathing hard when I think about it. As my friend Kody Merit would say “no cup cakes in Vegas” that was a simple fact. That’s the way all tournaments should be…. events when making the top 8 is a huge honor…and making the final 4 to show requires a little luck tied with a tremendous amount of commitment, endurance and skill. That was Vegas this year. Great job to all who made this tournament what it was…an exciting memorable event.

Top Eight?
I agree. They where the ones that had the courage, determination to giving it there all, like there is no tommorow. They made that cut in the top eight.
Congrates.
