Luke is a great puller. No excuse from me. I was very flat in the first mact.. beat him in the second in the finals and he used an excellent move in the final match and beat me. Congrats to him, he deserved it more than I did. Not gonna post too much about it, I'm pretty upset with myself to be honest.
I'm VERY proud of the missouri team and even more proud of my two teamates Eric Brown and Shawn Dempsy who both took home titles.
Ethan pulled liek a monster!!!! Double golds!
Thats it for now..I'll write more when I'm not in my feelings so much lol.

He wanted to pull the guys at 80 right handed Why no 76's for you Simon My travel to the event was a nightmare, flights from Dallas to Little Rock cancelled, overbooked, oversold and a standby list of 20+ after several attempts to get on a plane to Little Rock we flew to Memphis rented a car then drove, too much to worry about weight, I just wrestled what I weighed dressed and rushed off to the executive meeting that I was already late for. Even at about 84 I did pretty well, but Razor simply pulled smarter than me.

I can't wait to see the 220 right handed finals. I don't know Eric Brown or Terry Bergin. They beat out Scott Fleming, Frank Hirst, and Dave Chaffee. Does anyone know who they train with?

Terry Burgin is from AL. and trains with Lee Culpepper, not sure who else. He's been around for awhile.

Eric Brown must train with Jeremy Plaster, Shawn Dempsey, Sterling Miles, and the rest of the St. Louis crew.

Eric Brown is on our team. And he also cut roughly 20 lbs to make 220's. Weighed in Friday night, pulled like a beast on Saturday. He and Dave had an awesome match. Dave is a STUD, it was just Eric's day. Everyone will see more of Eric in the future. Snook, yes you and I were both spot on with my "horse" and I am so happy for him. He deserves the recognition. He worked very hard to prepare for this event. He's been knocking on the door for a long time and I'm proud of him. He will be there to defend HIS title next year Again,. I'm sorry to anyone who picked me to win this thing.. I plan on performing better in the future. It was Luke's day and he deserves what he won. He's an incredible puller, and as I told him..I am VERY happy to see him find the success he has found the last couple years.

Terry burgin has been around for a while. He is a very good puller and doesn't get enough credit.
Unfortunately the way the brackets were chaffee, Britt, Scott, and me were grouped together at the bottom. In a big class like that anyone can win.

Frank took the words right out of my mouth about Terry. There is a guy that gets big wins all the time and never gets the respect he deserves. Eric Brown looked massive...like Michael Todd's size. Did they weigh him in on the moon?

Congrats to everybody, wish I could have been there. How many were in the 70kg/144-154 class?

I had no intention to pull a heavier weight class, after the brackets were posted I realized there were only 5 guys in my R 75kg. I dont train my butt off all year long to show up at Nationals and have no competetion. I mean no dissrepect to Shawn Dempsey, I'm sure he's strong enough to hang with the best at 165. I really hate Ron Klemba you've given me another reason to hit the gym even harder. Im interested to see how I would have done if I were walking around at 180 like you were, compared to me at 166? Is 15 lbs really that big of a difference?
