I may just go back into hiding! Your arms are too big Bill, stay up in the 220s!
Thanks everyone, the general public may not know or care what we do, but your support is what makes this fun.
Jonathan- I just said how we as A.W.'s train, diet, and work hard and we are all athletes, like any other sport. I also said we have supportive family and pay most expenses out of pocket.
I love Nationals, this one, AAA, etc. They treat us with respect and do their best to give us a avenue to compete professionally. I sat in on the Referee training and they take this serious, and are diligent to the last detail.
The video on ARM-TV will show the Masters class pull their butt's off!
Erie PA will be back in 2010!

Congratulations Mr. Wagner,
I've always admired the way you conduct yourself on this board, like a champion. Now you have the official title to go with it. I'm happy for you.

Thank you all, very much. We joked on the way home having my name/ ranking changed on the board is the best benifit of winning Its humbling and impressive to see guys from different states chime in. BTW- I spoke with Wife Swap too, its legit. I could see it being an avenue to pay for Worlds, or even film there if any of us were to do it. That might help us all, if they filmed Worlds, or a large event, the public would see us.

Way to go Jim, I actually felt bad about leaving before I got to see you compete...had to get back to the kids. Funny how quickly that "National Champion" got put under your name, I'd like to see that gone in about 3 months. Replace it with "World Champion."

I was lucky enough to see Jim pull his masters class... I believe he will be a real threat to win the 98 masters class in Italy as well.. Very good pulling Jim! Congrats on this well deserved title!

Thanks everyone, really cool to see this! If anyone knows how to reach Jon Vinakoor, please tell him to reach out to me, or Leonard & Denise. I have lost my job as well as many, and Worlds just isnt going to be possible. Im pretty sure the current Champ Al can go, and he is the man. Jon I think is next up, and with a few more months to add some weight he will be fine too. I kind of put all my focus into Nationals, not really thinking I could qualify.
We will be working on sponsors for our Memorial event, so it would be hard to ask for money for myself.
Thanks again, this has been a bright spot for me recently.
