I didn't mean my match with tom. I know it was the tournaments money. I meant in general.
Sucks when you book a flight , miss work, etc and the match gets called off. Its happened to me before.

Here's what I gotta say Doug is an awesome puller and a good guy. But pulling Doug doesn't interest me at all. Nothing against Doug. I was just pumped and ready for Tom. I won't even be attending the tournament now. what needs to be done is money collected up front for these matches. more challenge matches might actually happen Um excuse me but your match with Tom was to be sponsored by ME, so collecting up front isn't an issue. I do agree with the idea but it will NEVER HAPPEN!!!! It's the chance you all take with these matches. As the one putting up the money if something gets cancelled I believe I have the right to use that same money that is for the event towards another match for the event. I could be wrong but I doubt it. No you aren't wrong at all, but unfortunately it's a catch 22 ya know. Only in the case of a second puller for the non injured puller does all parties make out. Then the uninjured puller still gets a chance and the promoter doesn't eat the match entirely. Any other way and someone is going to get burned. Either the puller who is not injured gets burned for the airfare and motel, time off..etc.. Or the promoter gets burned for paying out on a match that doesn't happen. It sucks either way but we can't prevent injuries or illness or personal emergencies that sometimes come up. Part of the growth process I imagine?

Growth of the sport I mean. More money involved, more hype or what have you... Overall growth or rebirth of armwrestling as a whole.

I'd like to see Brent Rakers, Mike S., Chad Silvers, and Bill Sinks pull in the open 205 rt! I think it would make for a interesting prevue of what to expect at nationals! I just got done pullin and working out with Bill! I'm using 2 arms to help train his rt! What kind of awards are being handed out ? The past trophies are sweet!
