What no way did Simon make 154's!?! and Vazgen first at 154 and 176 congrats buddy! big congrats to Ryan C. for beating John in the 242's (Ryan at 242 ! ) and Tom for beating them both in the supers! Wow. Congrats to Jordan Sill first in the 198's and winning the overall left. Are you 100% on those results though because I wouldn't have thought Simon would be at 154... he was in the 187's last year at Unified's.

You are correct Josh I walked into Nationals last year at 184 pulled 187 I had decided not to lose the few pounds to 176 because I was pulling weeks later in the UK, at Nationals I took second to Rau... I love being up at that weight as honestly when I am heavy I am pretty injury free....after Nationals though I started going down in weight because I had to eat healthier no more triple cheeseburger a day diet. By Worlds I was under 176 and before cutting to 154 I was walking around at about 168. I decided to cut to 154 here as a test to see what I wanted to do for this year. Maybe it is the lack of cheeseburger grease in me but I feel kind of frail when I am smaller which was my concern dropping this low. I got injured training 3 or 4 weeks ago and layed off until this event trying heal it up..... but a stupid flat approach to an always dangerous Mike McGraw put me in a bad spot and re injured my elbow so the best I could do was to milk my way to the 154 finals and hope the dinner break gave me some time to recover. In the end I was having to top roll people which is not exactly my strong suit, I never did give Vazgan a proper pull as I could not offensively hook so I was trying everything else but. Vazgen has never looked better might I add, I look forward to pulling him again in one of our classic deep hook matches. It was great to see everyone again love being out here... Stay tuned to see what weight I ultimately settle at.

I know David Nix beat him in the A side match I think surprising Mike by going outside with him.
After that though I think it must have been Luke on the B side that put him out.

It was Kyle Knapp who put out Mike McGraw. That is what I heard from Kyle.
