We have a big practice planned for Sat the 12th also. You won't see us. It's one thing to plan on having a practice on a day of a tournament when the tournament is out of state, but Chris has had his tournament posted long enough that making a practice on the same day as his tourney...well it's a SLAP in the face!!! I don't care if it draws flack, but I think it's in poor taste to schedule a practice that same day Frank!!! So glad about the choices I've made lately, things like this make it much easier!!!

First off I can have a practice when I want. People have a choice to choose the tournament, practice, or just stay home. Kinda like you chose to miss the naa,all the RI tournaments , like you chose to constantly miss our practices. We need to cater to Bristol pullers when it seems like they don't go out of their way for anyone else. Practice this sunday. Aren't you the guy that's always whining Sundays is better? See you sunday.

Your Right Frank you can have a practice when ever you want, but why would make people choose over one of MY Tournaments that's in the same state...........What did I ever do to you?

I miss tournaments because I work in a restauraunt. Our busy nights are Fri & Sat nights!! That is why I miss tournaments!! It wasn't about me, it was about having a practice when I thought supporting our local tournaments was the right thing to do!! You need to realize I supported LOCAL tourneys for over 20 years!! Now I have a home & am trying to do something outside of armwrestling since it's been a major part of my life up until I blew my knee out. I have traveled also, to 26 States, but now I share my life with my wife!! I'm sorry I have to work such a bad schedule that doesn't allow me to compete anymore...oh well!! Right now, not that I need to justify my busy life to you, but I will since you think I have so much free time to go to any other training places...I work@ night 3 days a week, Coach a womens Softball team 2 nights a week, train on Wed after work, & have only Sun to enjoy time with my wife!! She understands if here & there I want to train on Sun!! I guess you hit a nerve Frank, I really didn't want to post back but I have been good friends with Chris for 20 years!! As it is only my opinion, I would never schedule training in my home State when my home State Director has a tournament!! Sure people can make up their minds to either train or practice, but if people don't support their local tournaments, those that put all the time & effort into them lose money!! Maybe you can spare money, but ask Pete & James how much money it takes to run a tournament!! At least they have sponsors that pay more than the $250.00 I get to host the Fall Classic...which by the way cost $2000.00 average between awards & cash box!! Do the math & figure how many people you need to show up just to break even!! Take it how you want Frank, it's not like I called you out or anything, just felt I needed to explain my concerns!!

I have had my issues over the years with pullers from CT (everyone knows that). There were times that Vic and I, Josh and I ....we'll just put "etc...." didn't see eye to eye. But I would later consider both of those guys friends, despite our differences. I am still a bit hot-headed and must admit, hold in a lot of rage that manifests in a passive aggressive way sometimes. When you are truly passionate about something, you are going to care and I know both of you guys do.
I missed a few CT tournaments due to disagreements and really did not regret it until well after the fact. Usually it was over a rumor that someone said this or I (supposedly said that) and I learned how quickly the rumors fly around from training session to training session. The shame is that I really didn't see it until I got a little older and was just a year away from moving out of state. I really miss all of you guys if I am being honest.
Frank and Josh, you guys have been pulling for some time and both have traveled extensively for practice and tournaments so neither of you should have to question the dedication of the other. Frank flies all over the country and brings his A game. And as someone that use to put on big practices like Frank, I can understand that he is upset when guys within a couple-hours drive don't show once in a while. Josh has hosted practice and used to travel to practice all the way out to Cape Cod a few times a month to pull at Richie Lapham's pizza place with the Mass/Ri crew. He has also placed at the Worlds.
I personally think (whether you guys pull or not) you should all support Chris' tournament. You don't appreciate the amount of tournaments in the northeast until you move elsewhere. Then you start to consider a close tournament to be 4-6 hours from home.
