In 1995 I was 22 years old had never been any where out of the Midwest. Drove 1,600+ miles with two other guys to Idaho for the nationals. The trip was crazy we left on Thursday got home Monday. One of the guys with me was in a fire many years before and had skin graphs on his had. One of his graphs split in the middle of the match. He and the other guy left to go to the hospital and I was left alone still in the tournament at that time I did not know anyone at the event. Trips like these are what makes armwrestling family what it is.

Make the trip part of the Nats experience. The traveling is the part you'll remember when you're an old man. Don't survive the trip, enjoy every part of it or at least find the fun in it. Casey has taken it to the HNL, obviously. (HNL = Hole Nother Level)

Thanks for those who posted, it worked! So far one of my training buddies has committed and we will be hitting the road Thursday as soon as we get off work. Can't stop thinking about it. I hope it is the biggest tournament ever!
