none of the Muslims are under the true Islamic rules.
Saudi Arabia is a dictatorship.
Egypt is a dictatorship.
Libya is a dictatorship.
Islamic understanding of Iran is not the correct Islam.
Saddam was an evil man who had nothing to do with Islam.
over here no one believes that Ahmedinecad won the elections with honest ways.
i saw a picture of a girl whose nose was cut,there is no such punishment in Islam.
i do not believe it was a genocide but Kurds and we,Turks massacred Armenians for the revenge of massacred Turkish civillians by Armenian terrorists (i can go into detail for anyone who is interested)
in Islam there are tough punishments to thieves,killers and for sex without marriage.
but even all these have its own explanations.i can go into detail for anyone who is interested.
our government massacred people of Dersim for refusing to pay taxes.
i am sure you guys can also list wrong doings in your history such as slavery and American Indians.
so again,none of us has been without sin.

All these long posts don't belong in this fast food world....
I agree with engin that rePUBicans and DUMBacrats are all playing good cop bad cop.
You want the hypocrisy to end? Vote for me for president. Other than human error I would vow to run this country as the founding fathers intended.
Eliminate all income tax
Stop foreign invasions except for ABSOLUTE necessary preemptive strike.
Presidential ban on abortion.
Forgive all outstanding governmental debt
I would probably legalize many things most folks would find controversial.

Engin,
I respect your passion for your country and religion. You are very patriotic. With that being said why is it such a sin for an American to be patriotic? Also why is it that you like to seperate statements and respond to qoutes? How come you don't respond to entire posts? I mean sure it looks clever if you sperate sentences giving them the illusion of implying things they dont suggest. They have better presence if you take them in they're entirety. I don't hate Islams. I don't hate Turkish people. I don't approve of Pearl Harbor , the twin towers, or the attacks on the pentagon. "My statements weren't suggesting we are the alpha dog so deal with it". But sometimes we are fortunate to have leadership with a backbone to stand up. I'm not to proud to admit my country has made mistakes. I'm man enough to forgive it though. I'm also sharp enough to acknowledge that for every poor desicion we have made good desicions as well. We are a capitalist nation. But if we continue in the direction this president is taking us we will be a povertous country under dictatorship with debt to countries that loath us.

Kyle,
you often misunderstand my posts.my intention on this off topic forum is to prove that Islam has nothing to do with terror.for 1.400 years this religion (in fact we believe this is the same religion from first man to today) has been existing and we Muslims will not accept this none sense terrorism slandering.
if i am not answeing some parts of the posts it means that i have nothing to say about those parts.why do i have to answer everything that is written? if i see necessary to answer then i answer.do you answer everything i write? no. i am trying to let you understand that we dont have to answer every single post,or the entire post.some posts i agree,some i dont,some i dont have info about,some i am not interested,some i ignore (if its not respectful) etc..
same with me,i dont hate Christianity,i dont hate Americans,i dont hate Jews.. if i would hate you guys then why would i try so hard to explain that Islam has nothing to do with those unfair labels. i hate the responsibles of 9-11 attacks (does not matter who or which group).if thoe extremists are the real responsibles of 9-11 then i personally do not forgive them.i am not an American but as a Muslim i castigate them.anyone who kills "an innocent" (does not have to be 3.000) person can not represant Islam;
Quran 5-32
For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainly Our apostles came to them with clear arguments, but even after that many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land.
who says that it is wrong to be an American patriot? i respect everyone who has strong feelings about his country.that is why THE PATRIOT and BRAVEHEART are my favorite movies.not that i feel myself as an American patriot but i admire the people who has strong feelings for the nation.just read my post at the top of this page,i also mentioned the faults of my country and other so called Islamic countries.if necessary i can add more examples.wrong is wrong,we can protect our beloved ones even when they are wrong here on this earth but are we going to be able to protect them against GOD on the judgement day? so if we love someone or something the best we can do is correct their mistakes instead of defending them.this way we will be helping them.at the end of my post you will find a great teaching of Jesus,please read.
but sometimes we need to correct the mistakes of our beloved ones instead of closing our eyes to these mistakes.that is an example of love for anyone who believes in GOD.because its part of Christianity as well,to take side of GOD even if it requires you to stand against your earthly beloved ones.it is same in my belief as well;
Quran 4-135
O you who believe! be maintainers of justice, bearers of witness of GOD's sake, though it may be against your own selves or (your) parents or near relatives; if he be rich or poor, GOD is nearer to them both in compassion; therefore do not follow (your) low desires, lest you deviate; and if you swerve or turn aside, then surely GOD is aware of what you do.
many of the GOD's messengers told their people that they are following the wrong path,they are doing wrong things.did Jesus not rebuke his people;
John 8:44 (King James Version)
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
i can say that 99% of the Muslims are against US occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan but i have never heard a campaign in public against Christianity or American public.i personally hosted Travis and John in Turkey and did my best to make them feel comfortable.so believe in my honesty when i say that all i want is peace.GOD would not create people if HE wanted them to kill eachother.
here is a part from Gospel of Barnabas about how to love a friend (which can be used in the example of any love including our own country);
'When a man worketh ill or talketh ill, if one go to correct him, and hinder such work, what doth such an one?' said Jesus.
The disciples answered: 'He doth well, because he serveth God, who always seeketh to hinder evil, even as the sun that always seeketh to chase away the darkness.'
Said Jesus: 'And I tell you on the contrary that when one worketh well or speaketh well, whosoever seeketh to hinder him, under pretext of aught that is not better, he serveth the devil, nay, he even becometh his companion. For the devil attendeth to nought else but to hinder every good thing.
'But what shall I say unto you now? I will say unto you as said Solomon the prophet, holy one, and friend of God: 'Of a thousand whom ye know, one be your friend.'
Then said Matthew: 'Then shall we not be able to love any one.'
Jesus answered: 'Verily I say unto you, that it is not lawful for you to hate anything save only sin: insomuch that ye cannot hate even Satan as creature of God, but rather as enemy of God. Know ye wherefore? I will tell you; because he is a creature of God, and all that God hath created is good and perfect. Accordingly, whoso hateth the creature hateth also the creator. But the friend is a singular thing, that is not easily found, but is easily lost. For the friend will not suffer contradiction against him whom he supremely loveth. Beware, be ye cautious, and choose not for friend one who loveth not him whom ye love. Know ye what friend meaneth? Friend meaneth naught but physician of the soul. And so, just as one rarely findeth a good physician who knoweth the sicknesses and understandeth to apply the medicines thereto, so also are friends rare who know the faults and understand how to guide unto good. But herein is an evil, that there are many who have friends that feign not to see the faults of their friend; others excuse them; others defend them under earthly pretext; and, what is worse, there are friends who invite and aid their friend to err, whose end shall be like unto their villainy. Beware that ye receive not such men for friends, for that in truth they are enemies and slayers of the soul.
'Let thy friend be such that, even as he willeth to correct thee, so he may receive correction; and even as he willeth that thou shouldest leave all things for love of God, even so again it may content him that thou forsake him for the service of God. `But tell me, if a man know not how to love God how shall he know how to love himself; and how shall he know how to love others, not knowing how to love himself,
Assuredly this is impossible. Therefore when thou choose thee one for friend (for verily he is supremely poor who hath no friend at all), see that thou consider first, not his find lineage, not his fine family, not his fine house, not his fine clothing, not his fine person, nor yet his fine words, for thou shalt be easily deceived. But look how he feareth God, how he despiseth earthly things, how he loveth good works, and above all how he hateth his own flesh, and so shalt thou easily find the true friend: if he above all things shall fear God, and shall despise the vanities of the world; if he shall be always occupied in good works, and shall hate his own body as a cruel enemy. Nor yet shalt thou love such a friend in such wise that thy love stay in him, for [so] shalt thou be an idolater. But love him as a gift that God hath given thee, for so shall God adorn [him] with greater favour. Verily I say unto you, that he who hath found a true friend hath found one of the delights of paradise; nay, such is the key of paradise.'
Thaddaeus answered: `But if perchance a man shall have a friend who is not such as thou hast said, O master? What ought he to do? Ought he to forsake him?'
Jesus answered: `He ought to do as the mariner doth with the ship, who saileth it so long as he perceiveth it to be profitable, but when he seeth it to be a loss forsaketh it. So shalt thou do with thy friend that is worse than thou: in those things wherein he is an offence to thee, leave him if thou wouldst not be left of the mercy of God.
'Woe unto the world because of offenses. It needs must be that the offense come, because all the world lieth in wickedness. But yet woe to that man through whom the offense cometh. It were better for the man if he should have a millstone about his neck and should be sunk in the depths of the sea than that he should offend his neighbour. If thine eye be an offense to thee, pluck it out; for it is better that thou go with one eye only into paradise than with both of them into hell. If thy hand or thy foot offend thee, do likewise; for it is better that thou go into the kingdom of heaven with one foot or with one hand, than with two hands and two feet go into hell.'

If you can't, then at least speak out against it with your tongue. If you can't, then at least you have to hate it with all your heart. And this is the weakest of faith."

Why did democrats vote for him? Really? 4)Obama awoke a previously unseen black voting block. 90% of blacks voted for Obama. Last poll I saw was from the Washington Post that stated the African American voters only increased by 2%! 11% in 2004 to 13% in 2008. Interesting too ~ 88% of the African American voters voted for Kerry in 2004. 88%! I don't think I'd call a 2% increase waking up a "previously unseen black voting block". Sorry I should have said more than 90%... Over 95.5% of blacks voted for Obama compared to the 88% for Kerry in 2004. or 14.4 Million votes for Obama vs 11.7 Million for votes for Kerry The gap between McCain and Obama - 8.5 Million votes 12% of the Voters accounted for 32% of the gap between Obama/McCain or Over 1 million more individual votes between 2004-2008 (Over 25% of the new voters in 2008 were Black) That is significant when compared to other elections. Wasn't meant to be a HUGE factor in my statement, but I guess it could be when you really look at it.

McCain got whooped because he's a RINO and a political has-been. He might be the most worthless Senator is history, but he's probably tied with John Kerry for that prestigious title.

^ exactly right.
My armchair quarterback analysis is that the RNC had basically accepted the fact that Hillary Clinton was going to walk right into the White House and decided not to spend any time and effort just to lose to her. Then lo and behold, this guy Obama falls from the sky, whips Hillary in the DNC primaries, and changes everything. But it was too late at that point to round up a decent candidate to run against Obama.
I personally don't understand the crazy amount of dislike for Palin, but horses for courses. I used to think Joe Biden was a pretty smart guy until they let him speak publicly.

Agree also...Being a conservative I agree with alot if not most of Sarah Palins stands on issues...BUT as a politician...I think she does horribly. No worse than Biden - But horrible still. She was a good governor for Alaska - results wise - I also think it was the right thing to step down, considering pros - cons - of her staying in office, but she was the worst selection McCain could have made. Huckabee would have made the election CLOSER, but still would not have closed the gap. The attacks against Palin have been VICIOUS - she asked for alot of it - but the media would not WILL NOT HAS NOT come close to the level of attacks against Biden for his ignorance and inappropriateness as VP. Media BIAS = HUGE!

I'm still disappointed that Palin lost. I could handle four years of eye candy and good SNL skits. Everybody knows the VP is a phony position, anyway. You could elect Flavor Flav as VP and nobody would experience any effect whatsoever. Does anybody remember who Jimmy Carter's VP was? Anyone....anyone.... Exactly. He ran for President afterwards and even the Democrats didn't recognize him, LOL. Everyone remembers Geraldine Ferraro for some reason.
What do I do with all these McMilf '08 bumper stickers?

Unless the President is mentally challenged, such as the case with Bush and Cheney. They might as well have just swapped positions, since everyone knows he was pulling the strings.
