Off the top of my head, guys from our little ECA group have been to: Md, Va, Ny, Wv, Pa, Tn, SC, NM, Ca, ... all in the past 12 months. We step out of our backyard so, we know what a lot of the best guys in the U.S. feel like. Yall don't. We may take a field trip to down there next year to Contraband, but that will be mostly for the party !

As far as 176 and under Louisiana has always had some of the best competitors in the country. Who have consistently place and won several national events.
Problem is...... They haven't been traveling much in the last five years.

As far as placing Craig on the rankings he should be placed above ray Hennerichs right and left.
Simply based on the wins from this weekend

Since I am the voice of clarity around here...I will say in you guys' defense you are not surrounded by any states that really armwrestle. Texas, Bama and Ms are all pretty dead. So, logistically you guys are screwed. Don't blame you for starting a circuit at home. Now you just gotta entice and bait in some good outside guys.

Shoot Texas has some big ole boys.
Not in the 76's so much but lindly keating is a beast!!
Texas has a good crowd over there and they come to contraband and the BSA championship in Shreveport every year.
Yea Mississippi is a dead fish.
But I have plans to make an attempt at giving it life.

Me and Giles had been talkin' about tryin' to make C-B Days, looks like a good tourney and good time. But if it cost a grand, I won't be makin' it. No doubt Tullier's a beast, just struck me wrong cause my elbow and shoulders' hurtin rite now from practice Sun.

To Tommy Russell and Anthony Snook,
I was just expressing my personal opinion, which I have the right to do! Didn't mean any disrespect!

Guys, No disrespect was intended. Craig is a great armwrestler and an even better guy. Did not mean to get people fired up in a negative way but in a positive way. If I were an active 76 puller, I would be thrilled that Craig is (could be) back as I would want to pull him. Pull the best to be the best mentality. Geez, I have lost to some of the best already (Patton, Fisher, Cobra)!
Use his possible return for positive motivation - not hating. My opinion is that Craig would be top 5 in the country right now at 176.
Hopefully he will come to Travis' in November. Maybe Ryan can help that happen! Peace.

I don't know how popular I am going to be after this post, but I never really cared about any of that BS anyways. Craig Tullier is (when trained) the best 176 in the US (right or left handed). With that being said, I get all kinds of sore in my a s s when I read where someone writes something so narrow-minded as this guy or that guy will dominate anyone in his class or above. I have read that about a few guys in the past and found them to be very strong and worthy opponents but not dominant among the guys in the next weight class up.
Craig has shown that he can go up in weight, win classes and overalls (but I can name a few pullers that can do that as well). I have won ten overalls myself at weights ranging from 165-215. Though I don't think by any stretch of the imagination that I could get up there with guys in the next class up and dominate (most overalls I won were very hard fought). With that being said, Craig would (without a doubt) be competitive with roughly all of the 198s in the country (which is saying a lot).
I can understand where the guys pulling hard in an ever-improving 176 class in the southeast would be upset by someone pulling one tournament and going to the top of the list. It seems most people agree. There are a lot of hard-working 76s in the southeast and I do believe that a few will be at Craig's level someday. I will also understand if they are upset with me saying that, but you guys have to understand that Craig pulled for years and dominated some great 154s (except Accardi and I would imagine Brian Shea) and some really good 176s (except for Chandler). He trained with Cobra, Robert Redden (a badddd dude), Blake Higgenbotham, Lucas, Avants and Henrichs (when he was one of the best lightweights), and those guys were known for two things: training hard and winning. So the man has paid his dues.
