Tommy, Thanks. Seems like only the guys in the North East get any love. Hopefully we could get a North / South competition going. I do not know Mr Brown. I have seen the top two guys pull but never met either.
When are you coming to Dave's? Bill

Not sure? I wanted to go to W.Va but it was bad timing for me and now Randy Stanaway's tourney is this coming weekend. Also with it being on Thurs. makes it difficult for me because I got to plan it on a Thurs. that I'm caught up at work ( which is never, It's feast or famine in the construction business). I'm goin' to make it up there though, I'd say sometime in Aug. for sure, I'll let you know. Brown's a beast for sure, Solid up top and inside. I've never pulled Simon or Matt but I'm pretty sure I know what the outcome would be........ You comin' to Yorktown this weekend with Gary and crew?

I am not coming this weekend. Giles put a hurting on me in WV. Unfortunately, I think I know how my matches would turn out too - but I want to give it a shot anyway!

Thanks for the mention Tommy. I'm going to become much more active as soon as I'm able to make a career move. I was hoping that we would get to pull up in MD, but of course Bill had to ruin that

Good luck with that Bill, Simon is obviously top dog but hardly ever pulls same with Matt H.,- Worley hasen't pulled 76's right in two yrs.-,- With all due respect, 4&5 rarely leave their state-,Anderson doesn't even pull anymore( I think he joined the military), 7- Rusty Brown, you can more than likely find him at Get a grip next yr. .Rusty's probaly the one to shoot for, then Simon & Matt. My version of the rankings would look like this: 1) Simon 2) Matt 3) Brown 4) Maenza ( recent wins over Blevins & Myself) 5) Story ( Beat me and Blevins @ the same tourney) 6) Blevins ( Never lost to G Kessler) 7) Russell ( 2-1 against G Kessler, winning last time we pulled) 8) G. Kessler 9) J. Kessler 10) Jr. Andrews (Some notable mentions; Fortenberry, Phaup, Ruskin(sp), Jr. Hostler) The deep south guys are badass and there's enough down there to have there own rankings considering we'll never pull each other. Good Luck too ya. WOW!!! Someone that actually keeps up with whats going on!!! Johnny, no direspect, but....youre idea of updating at the end of the year is...lets just say... questionable. It's all good though, rankings are tough to keep up with, especially outside your own class, so, i'm just bustin yur balls a lil bit! I do agree that it would be nice to have a north and south division in the Southeast....It sucks sitting behind them just because...and when will we get a chance to pull them? Hell, we might as well get ranked with the Northeast rankings, because if you're from Charlotte or above, those are the guys we pull against all the time. May have to talk to Kopa about moving NC & VA up to the Northeast rankings to be more accurate. South Carolina on down could stay with the Southeasts pullers, I know CHad Silvers and Matt Harris tend to make tournaments more South towards Florida and over a bit more than they pull with the Northeast pullers. Just a thought. Just for the record...If i'm speaking for myself, I would have Jr. Andrews above Gary & Jeremy Kessler on Tommy's list. He beat Gary most recently at the SEAC. Oh and I would not put Paul Story above myself right now...he does have a legit win on me (right after a war with Shoey, but so did J. Kessler in same cicumstances at Quest...and I have proven since then that was not what will continue to happpen) but, Paul is coming on hard with that right hand....but, I have a winning record vs him and would like him to beat me somewhat fresh before he moves ahead of me....just sayin... 176 right 1. Simon B.(VA) 2. Matt Harris(SC) 3. Danial Worley(FL) 4. John Toups(LA) 5. Ray Hennerichs(LA) 6. Colby Anderson 7. Rusty Brown(SC) 8. Bill Maenza 9. Aaron Blevins(VA) 10. Jeremy Kessler(VA) 11. Gary Kessler(VA) 12. Jason Trumbower(FL) 13. Tommy Russel(NC) 14. Jamie Fortenberry(NC) 15. Johnny Edwards(NC) 16. Isaiah Tomlin(VA) 17. Paul Story(NC) 18. Jr. Andrews(NC) 19. Scott George(NC) 20. Lawton Strong(FL) Soup Sandwich my friend....to many inaccuracies needs an overhaul

Lawton Strong(FL) Soup Sandwich my friend....to many inaccuracies needs an overhaul I'll be happy to let you take them over if you want to Aaron. I kinda got bored with them to be honest, I just don't have the time to sit on the internet an go over results anymore like I used to getting married in less than 2 weeks, got a baby on the way, working an starting college also in a couple weeks an then take in too account im spending alot more time training these days than I used to because I am taking the sport ALOT more seriously so I would be more than happen to let someone else do it....... But in my defense I did say awhile back keep me updated on who beats who where so I can keep them reasonably correct. So do I have any volunteers? ?? catch is I get to choose them though.

Any events coming up that some of the gentlemen ranked higher are going to? I respectfully request the opportunity to pull with you. TN, NY, WVa, MD, Va. just to name a few, I'd like to try KY. muscle, seems like a good tournament. It probaly won't be this year though. I was thinkin' you'd be in Tn. at Ray's tournament?

Well KY Muscle is the tourney I make a point to go to each year since it was my first one when I came back to the sport in '08 and what can I say I'm chasing the snake lol
Arm'ed Forces, and Bama state I actually have a hand in running. I might make TN State but it really depends on who is going to pull 171's, are you going?

the only rankings I could really do any justice to is the 76s....I would suck at the other weight classes....and even my own rankings for 76s might suck I have no idea how you did rankings for all classes, I couldn't have, thats tough. ****JUST FOR FUN....HERE IS WHAT I'M LOOKING AT****based off Tommy Russell's post talking about a Mid-Atlantic Region and Deep South within the Southeast. There are only a handful of states within the actual Southeast Region that are competitively represented in armwrestling....so, heres what it looks like on paper drawing a line inbetween the actual competitive armwrestlers competing in the 176lb class. MID ATLANTIC 3 states represented VA, NC, WV 1. Simon Berriochoa (VA) everyone knows why.... 2. Bill Maenza (VA) Dave Patton's #1 in the bullpen,T. Bagent called him a Legend 3. Aaron Blevins (VA) it ain't a game 4. Tommy Russell (NC) Crazy strong...becoming a household name 5. Junior Andrews (NC) Former WORLD/National Champion...nasty toproll 6. Junior Hostler (WV) Old school puller pulling again, the Real Deal 7. Paul Story (NC) BIG Strong hand. 2009 AAA Nat Champ lefty...right is getting there 8. Jeremy Kessler (VA) kid is a STUD....pull him and find out 9. Gary Kessler (VA) slick puller...CAN find a way to beat you 10. Jaime Fortenberry (NC) Nasty hit and Toproll DEEP SOUTH 3 states represented SC, LA, FL 1. Matt Harris (SC) I don't have to even tell you 2. Ryan Comardelle (LA) "sliprolled" Klemba at AAA, might even have some for Matt inside 3. Danial Worley (FL) DON'T sleep on his right hand, VERY strong 4. Ray Hennerichs (LA) looks strong at 76...CRAFTY-est puller in Southeast 5. Rusty Brown (SC) you just don't see this guy lose...and... you just don't see this guy 6. John Toups (LA) easily COULD be higher, needs to get past his boy Ryan C and beat Ray 7. Jason Trumbower (FL) Don't know if he's officially moved up from 76s...looks about 220 8. Lawton Strong (FL) TK's Beast at 76...needs to get out, he's capable 9. ? 10. ? LIKE I SAID, JUST FOR FUN!! We dont really need to split the Southeast up officially, just a breakdown of what it looks like from tournament to tournament in these areas....IMO
