^^^^Not unhealthy at all?!?!?! Seriously?!?!! Look at the correlation in brain tumors and cancer and the "creation" of diet pop and tell me that it's healthy. Don't trust ANYTHING the FDA and FTC say, they're all in bed together (ask Jason Vale) and making BILLIONS while we get "cured" from side-effect after side-effect. www.counterpunch.org/pringle01102007.htmlwww.naturalnews.com/011804.htmlwww.justmindpower.com/Aspartame.html I personally know someone that was a Diet Coke addict and got diagnosed with MS. She wasn't fat or unhealthy, just liked Diet Coke. She was so sick that everyone thought that she was going to die. As soon as she stopped drinking any diet pop and detoxed her system she started getting healthy again. She hasn't had any MS symptoms since, and obviously doesn't touch anything with ARTIFICIAL sweeteners in it.

I don't drink pop, never have. I never liked it. But I always wondered why diet will make you fat when it contains 0 calories. Can you (or anyone else) explain this to me? There is nothing in diet soda that will directly make you fat. its just a stupid myth. there is something in it though that will make you crave more sugar though, but diet soda itself is not unhealthy at all My dentist told me that diet soda is as bad or even worse for your teeth also!!

Diet will make you just as fat I don't drink pop, never have. I never liked it. But I always wondered why diet will make you fat when it contains 0 calories. Can you (or anyone else) explain this to me? Hey Josh, Those zero-calorie sodas people are popping left and right down, and drinking instead of coffee (or regular soda) can actually lead to or has been linked to metabolic syndrome, which is a fancy way of saying fat and all its attendant ills. An article in the New York Times, based upon a study done partly at the University of Minnesota, states that people who drink diet sodas are 18 percent more likely to have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, and abdominal obesity. Not only that, but drinking something that contains not a single natural ingredient (except water) and floods your system with Aspartame -- which is, one of the most widely-tested things in food history because it has been linked to a variety of different cancers and neurological disorders....but Chris already pointed that out. Anyway, drink black coffee if you want caffiene. Simple.
