I am not sure either... 1. he wants to meet as many strong pullers as he can. 2. at the same time, he wants to pull with them when he is in good condition. (16 hours in plane, jet lag (the time difference), another 8-10 hours in a car all together might make him too tired...this is only my thought, i'm going to talk to him tomorrow.) anyway..thank you, ALL for having interest in his visit. James you really gotta pull with him anyway. he looks forward to meeting you very much. Outside of James not coming.... I'd say McPherson, Burton, Stanley, Wilson, Marrocco,Worley , Decker, Kenny Smith should be Challenge enough?.... They also will be coming from traveled roads as well! If he wants the best in March? They will be here!.....Ready go's & all!!!!! If you want to practice, James and Paul are beasts!..... Competition Tournament? Come see me! TK Ps ....I want the best.....can the best in Korea hang with THE SOUL SURVIVOR SUPER CLASS?

Thanks, Josh! I just got an email from Sung-Yeol and he told me he is not sure about FL at this time. If Paul has a plan to drive down to FL, please let me know. I don't know what will happen either... (Doesn't mean he is not interested. He desires such an opportunity more than anyone! He thanks all people who try hard to make his trip unforgettable.) I will try to post his recent photos as time approaches. And thank you so much Charlie from World of Armwrestling for having him on the front page!Again, he will stay with me from March 4 - 11, if you have time and live around or have a plan to visit NC, just let me know. We can have fun. It will also be a great opportunity to introduce yourself to international countries becasue he and I will post all pictures and videos (as long as I look handsome) on my blog. (It has 200~400 visitors per day around the world although most of them are Koreans) Thanks! P.S. meanwhile, if there is any pullers who have plan to visit Korea and want to have some pulling, don't hesitate asking me a support. I remember that David "Vengeance" Rivera once had a Korean flag under his profile.

We are going to FL. (thank you all who supported, helped, and encouraged us!) More details will be updated this week. My friend and I thought James would be little disappointed as we go to FL on Mar 5th because I already made an agreement with him for a decent practice session. I talked to James R. yesterday about it, he was even nicer that he will try to make some time during the weekdays. Thank you!! I also have many thanks to many people from yesterday's Get A Grip. Steven "Tank" Sears, thank you for making this trip possible, and Bob Giannelli...what can I say but thank you so much! (you know what i mean) I would like to write a decent amount of post appreciating each puller from yesterday but I need to deal with three exams tomorrow and Tue. lol My point, regarding Sung-Yeol's visit, is that he is pulling at Deep South Pulling Wars III. John Wilson, thank you so much again for your nice offer! We would like to be under a debt of gratitude, but MR.TK will also sponsor us for this trip. We will meet each other very soon!

Sung-Yeol wants me to translate and post the following message on the board.
---------------message from Sung-Yeol Baik----------------
How do you do - fellow armwrestlers?
My name is Sung-Yeol Baik who will be visiting the U.S. on March 4th. It is a complete privilege that I can be part of Deep South Pulling Wars III. It was not a easy decision for me because I had to risk losing stamina through two long trips; one from Korea to NC, and another from NC to FL, while representing my country. However, after my friend translated your replies on the northeastboard.com, I decided to participate in a competition regardless of the result. Now, my heart is full of excitement and gratitude.
My sole purpose of visiting America is not to build up my reputation, but to build up my experience and knowledge. S.Korea does not have a long history of armwrestling that my armwrestling abilities may not be as satisfactory as you expected. However, because I love this sport so much, I want to learn; and because I want to learn, I am visiting my friend to meet you-armwrestlers. This is my first visit and I will make second, third, and so on visits in the future. Mr. Wilson, thank you for your nice post, and Mr.King. I deeply appreciate your interest and thank you for helping us to stay in Florida without much burden.
And North Carolina armwrestlers, thank you so much for taking care of my friend, Seung-Min Bae, with kindness. I have heard a lot of good stories about you all and I would like to meet you all during the weekdays between March 7 - 10. Especially, I never want to miss a chance to learn from James Retarides and Paul Walther.
most sincerely,
Sung-Yeol Baik from South Korea

Sung-Yeol,
I am honored by your words, and honored that you will be a part of our contest.
Your journey will be long. We understand that. There can be no expectation of you feeling 100% after so much travel. We look forward to your presence as a learning experience for us all and an opportunity for new friendship.

Thank you for your kind words. I will see if we can get a practice together for the Wednesday following the tournament.
