Gentleman, Has anyone ever used or owned an arm-wrestling machine? If so, what was your experience w/ it and is it worth shelling out $400-500 for? I'm referring to something like the Extreme AW machine like they sale @ ultimate armwrestling.com or the Terminator machine? Thanks for your input guys, Rob

I've got it and will definitely get you stronger in certain areas IMO.
Side pressure especially - and some hand/set up strength of course, using the thick handle in conjunction with the side pressure.
I wish I was able ( had energy ) to train with it more often, but several years ago when I was using it more often it really helped me get stronger in areas I was weak previously.
They advertise it as being able to start in several different positions - and I guess you could possibly tweak it if you are mechanically savvy, but I have to put it in the "losing position" starting spot JUST to get the weight engaged by the time I am at center. Hard to explain but can try to if needed.
Overall, I think its worth the money. I think I got the extreme for $499 or so shipped. It doubles of course as a table as well, BUT once you add the MACHINE attachment, you would not want to go back to TABLE unless you had to, or maybe for the occasional practice, its a decent amount of work.
Hope that helps, take care.

Thanks for your input John, it was very helpful! It appears to be a worthwhile addition to my home gym at this point but I'm still not completly sold... Is there any back-pressure while pulling on it? definitely looks good for side pressure though!
Anyone else got experience w/ this machine???
Cheers, Rob

If I had extra $$$ would definitely get the Terminator - from the looks and what everyone says looks incredible.
As far as back pressure on mine, not so much. The Terminator does have that functionality from my understanding.

Thanks Guys! The terminator does seem to be an awesome piece of equipment for sure.
I'm gonna have to speak w/ John Cole regarding the Terminator and get some more info.
Thanks again guys and keep the input coming!
