The pulling was awesome. Some of the biggest names in the sport there. Had a great time. Refs did an awesome job. (even the loud mouth Travis) First time I pulled NAL will be doing it again soon. The sportsmanship was awesome. Congrats to all that pulled.

Why would you say that about John ? Also Tim deserves more credit than that
To say John doesn't care is a very narrow minded comment!!He is pulling some of the best around and almost always is way lighter then whoever he is pulling.Last night Tim pulled great and just pulled the Arnolds last week.I say hats off to both guys and I would be willing to bet John cares lol.
First of all my opinion is my opinion, and dont get me wrong,i started armwrestling because of John B,silverback meaning that tim is huge and strong like one.

This was an incredible tournament. The talent here was through the roof. Travis did a great job hyping everything up and the bar was packed.
Chad and Roman certainly are on a whole different level in the 176 class. Tim definitively deserves credit, he is incredibly strong right now.
As far as the reffing and rules, I never felt like anyone had an unfair grip. Things run a lot faster than we are used to which I feel favors certain times of arm wrestling styles, but this is largely intended to minimize the time necessary to run the event. I was very satisfied with this aspect of the event.

Yep, It was great tournament for sure, I just have to say a couple things about Big Tim, When he arrived at the tournament about 4:30 or so I went up and introduced myself and asked for a picture before the night was over. It was along night and I was still pulling but Tim was getting ready to head home and he made sure that he found me inside of a packed house and made sure that I got my picture with him. Not to many big name people would of looked for an un-named arm wrestler that he just met and made sure that they got their picture. Much respect to Tim B. Also John Berzenk sat down and talked just like he knew you for 20 years. It was truly the biggest night of arm wrestling the State of Maryland has ever seen. Travis you did a great job, see you in July.

You dominated him. I'm just curious about what kind of shape John is now, I wonder if he is stronger than last Zloty or in the same shape, I really wonder if John can be the N.1 in the world again in the next future, or if injures definitively don't allow John to do it... Bob Brown??...

I think I asked it in a wrong way. Mr Bob Brown, may you please tell me your point of view about John's current shape and your thoughts about John's chances to be ranked again at N.1 (or at least in the Top 3) in the world in the next future? I think that obviously nobody else can say something about this matter better than you, except maybe John himself, but since John is not on this board anymore... I will appreciate A LOT to know what you think and what you know about this Bob, thanks in advance

First......Tim was the man on that day and deserves great respect. IMHO, even completely fresh vs fresh. Tim would of beat John.
Fabio,
Johns shape is about the same as it has been for the last few years. Here is the thing, everyone has injuries. John has had injuries for a long time, just like everyone else. The reality is that for a long time no one could put John to 100% pressure and he never seemed to be injured. Even though he was. As the rest of the world is getting stronger and John is getting older, these injuries start to show themselves. There are now a hand full of guys that can put John to 100% and in different styles. Therefore the injuries show themselves more often and start to compound themselves. I don't know if we will ever see John at a 100% again.
but IMO A fully rested, healed and trained John could still beat anyone in the world.

No doubts about what you said about Tim Bresnan, I already said the same things here in last page, Tim was the Man on that day, no doubts. I really hope that John will be again in the shape of Vegas 2006 or Vendetta with Cyplenkov 2009, I really wish John that his injures and tendonitis will disappear enough to make him able to do some miracles again as he has done many times during his long career, to be ranked again number 1 in the world. I really hope it, but I also think that Devon is unbeatable right now, much respect for Devon, he is undoubtely the N.1 in the world without discussions.
