Also Chris, so you also agree with Charlie's view that a pedophile should not be put to death then, not sure if you have kids but even if it was one of your own kids that was molested,raped,harmed,ect.... ?. I don't have kids, but I do have nieces and nephews. This is a tough one for sure. I personally have a few theories on the whole prison system that would actually contradict Charlie's views. I don't think I'd be able to be as good as a human being as Charlie on these cases, but it wouldn't be as cut and dry as just killing them. My prison system reform theory would explain this further, but is not related to the thread, and I don't want it to get high jacked. The whole thing with killing OBL is that we didn't practice what we preached, and basically proved the radicals correct. We are a tyrannical country that will come in and kill anyone we want when we want, and how we want regardless of the rules. Personally, I don't see why we didn't capture him. We had the best of the best go in there, and I'm if we told them that we wanted him alive, they would have brought him back alive. The problem is they didn't get that order. Why? If we had captured him, where would we have taken him? What country would have housed him and risked the huge fallout that would have come in droves, all the while demanding his release? We certainly didn't want him. No matter what the crimes, there are those that just can't be imprisoned due to the horrific cost to others.

Geneva code gives the law on someone who isn't visibly armed, they can even be retreating from you and you can still shoot them dead, only way it's a crime is if he surrendered. Last time I checked he had more than 10 years to surrender. I agree about the celebrating, you can look to my facebook for that, I never said that we should go out into the streets and celebrate that is where the line distinguishes between what the terrorist were doing and what we did. The action of him beling killed is justice in my eyes but the celebrating of it is wrong. I don't think it's right to celebrate over any human being killed. Relieved but not happy. Also Chris, so you also agree with Charlie's view that a pedophile should not be put to death then, not sure if you have kids but even if it was one of your own kids that was molested,raped,harmed,ect.... ? Johnny, as a mother and a grandmother, at one point in my life I would have said put a pedophile alone in a room with the children's parents for just 30 minutes. No weapons needed. Then, whatever was left of him, absolutely kill. Now, I don't want them killed. I want them in the prison system. There is a code in prison and pedophiles are looked upon as the scum of the earth that they are. In prison, they will receive treatment they justly deserve many times over. I do believe they should receive a life sentence without the opportunity of parole.

I personally hope that Osama's death was faked (temporarily) so that his cohorts would not be looking for him. My sincerest hope is that Osama is in a basement in Afghanistan talking to some rather stern fellows from Langley, VA.
Granted, Osama is the king of Jihadi True Believers, so he's not likely to give up the goods- and everything he says would be suspect. But the news reports indicate that they got enough intel from his safehouse that they could compare what he says in between the snot and blood bubbles to what his notes from the house say. Since Osama is already dead, they should spread his ashes over the nearest latrine barrel and burn with gasoline like the rest of the dung on the firebase.

Has anyone seen the movie 9/11 Press for Truth? I just got done watching it, and it exposes a TON of dirty information after the fact in regards to how the Bush Administration protected Osama Bin Laden. Here's the first part of the movie on Youtube:
It looks like it's all posted on Youtube if you don't have Netflix.

Little brother takes a beating standing with big brother! Sorry but statements like this piss me off every time I see a box heading down the 401. We are just not catching all your CNN FOX media.

FYI - "A private letter from CIA chief Leon Panetta to Senator John McCain (R-AZ) confirms that the so-called enhanced interrogation techniques put in place by the Bush administration did not reveal intelligence about Abu Ahmed al-Kuwaiti, the courier that eventually led the U.S. to Osama bin Laden. The letter was obtained by The Washington Post and a CIA spokesperson confirmed its authenticity. "Let me further point out that we first learned about the facilitator/courier’s nom de guerre from a detainee not in CIA custody in 2002," the letter stated. "It is also important to note that some detainees who were subjected to enhanced interrogation techniques attempted to provide false or misleading information about the facilitator/courier. These attempts to falsify the facilitator/courier’s role were alerting." "In the end, no detainee in CIA custody revealed the facilitator/courier’s full true name or specific whereabouts," Panetta added. "This information was discovered through other intelligence means." Former Bush officials and some Republicans have insisted that enhanced interrogation techniques like waterboarding resulted in information that eventually led to bin Laden's whereabouts. Last week, Sen. McCain wrote an op-ed piece in the The Washington Post claiming that bin Laden's death should not be used to justify torture. In his article, he cited information he received from Panetta, but he did not release that information to the public." www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/05/19/cia-chiefs-letter-confirms-torture-did-not-lead-to-osama-bin-laden/
