I would love to see Michael Todd vs. Travis Lefthanded after Michael beats devon 6-0. Travis is going to be the worlds second best lefthanded armwrestler, because the surgery and the way the doctors repaired his tendon and elbow nobody will touch Michael Todd. Devon is strong, but not in the same league with Michael Todd. Match will go like this Devon takes Michael over center, Michael catches arm locks and stands up and presses Devon for the pin, 6 times just like that. USA WOW!!!! You're kidding, RIGHT???

I guess I'll throw my $.2 in (if its worth even that!). I agree with RVJ. As I see it, these matches are either going to end up in a supinated (hooking) or pronated (toprolled) war!! I think devon has a couple of things going for him here. One, Devon rarely if ever gets toprolled (excluding the weird Don Underwood Kryptonite version). If Travis Bagent or John Brzenk cannot budge Devons wrist, then I highly doubt MT will but I think most agree on this point. Two, MT is prone to being toprolled as everone knows. However, MT finds this postitoon not to be as disconserting as most armwrestlers do. Therefore, I think most if not all matches will end up in a flopped wrist war with DL having hand control. I dont see how the first 2 seconds of every match will result in any other position. The question then becomes, can MT beat Devon from this position? Personally, I dont think this is possible. With Devon having hand control, and being one of the smartest AW's in the world, I dont see a scenario where MT is going to be able to get behind his flopped wrist to press. He might, but I doubt it. The Cyplenkov match with MT will offer little insight here IMO because they battled it out from a hook position (which makes it even more impressive as to Cyplenkov's power). That is not gonna happen with Devon. I think Devon is gonna take his hand and then hang on it until he gets his pin. 6-0 Devon Larratt.
IMO there is only one guy who stands the best chance of beating DL right now. Big , Strong, Fast, and explosive high side pressure hit (DL's kryptonite). Anyone wanna take a guess who I am think of?

Jacob If you and I are thinking the same it's Don Underwood. Don's hand strength, high side pressure and incredible explosive hit is unbelievable if he is 100%. However IMO if it goes to a conventional Super Match format I believe Devon might be able to make proper adjustments and if he is able to catch Don he will wear Don out. I wish the best for Don Underwood but I am concerned about Don's cardio health or possible high blood pressure seeing him against Tom Nelson sweating like he did. It didn't seem right. JMO

Wow, ummm no disrespect but let's be REAL for a second... Are you telling me mike has a stronger press than Dave Randall .... I am not hearing that at all. Dave lost the whole match in the first 5 seconds because he annihilates everyone in a second when he hits the sweet spot and he did, but felt the wall .... Truth is I can't be made to believe his press is as effective as saves and Devonshire arm was strong there.... Sooooo[/quote] Hey Rob, Hope you are fit n well mate (there is a Show yer missing out on July 22-25th mate) hope to see ya soon lad. In answer to the above ABSOLUTELY I believe that Mike Todd's Shoulder Press is Stronger than Dave Randall's right now and particularly in an ARM WARS Pro Format six rounder as we are talking about here. WHY !? well for starters because it can be applied from a defensive position far more fluidly and aggressively therefore making it much more difficult for an opponent to predict and time correctly. It comes with more effective side pressure from a unique and unusual angle, its Unauthadox. FINALLY BECAUSE IT DOESN'T FADE. Also after 15 seconds of CRAZY RED LINE in the opening Round Dave would have peaked, not Mike, oh no, I have repeatedly watched Mike win Armwrestling Matches that he had no right to win positionally. Travis posted really well, in terms of his athlete characteristics breakdown, IF MICHAEL TODD can scent blood in the water then we are going to have an Armwrestling match on our hands come July 23rd as when Mike starts to believe that he can win regardless of position or situation ITS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to convince "THE MONSTER" otherwise. Can he really beat the Man with "NO LIMITS" CAN ANYONE.....to be honest, I really don't know but HE BELIEVES HE CAN & that makes this match far more interesting................I guess on July 23rd...................we'll find out ! Cheers Neil

100% agree with jacob on that.. Start to finish.. My two cents means shyt we all know.. But woody is the best right handed puller in the world right now..he should get winner of this match. Sorry but I must interject, i am a fan of hollywood but travis bagent just handled him at the uae tournament not long ago and we all saw where travis was with devon, I would except a statement like hollywood has the best chance of beating devon because of styles but not hollywood is the best right handed in the world. In recent memory tim bresnan, ron bath and travis all beat don, The best armwrestler in the world is devon until proven otherwise, but he is pulling number 2 or 3 on that list in michael todd and the winner will pull jerry cadorette in my mind apart from those 3 nobody else is in consideration for best in the world

Rob, I was thinking that same thing. If Devon can stop Dave R. and pull him back, then he can pull anyone back from that position. Come on people, 6-0 Todd? You do know That as of late Devon has beat Dave R., John B., Tim B., Ron B., Richard L., Travis B. . Let me ask this...does anyone feel that Denis C. would beat Devon right now? Todd beat him once and Denis won the next 2. And Devons endurance is going to be the closest thing Mike has seen to his own. I'm not saying it won't be a great match, but Mike 6-0, I seriously doubt that. I agree with this, people seem to forget how Cyplenkov beat Michael two times in the final at Arnold's in an easy way, Michael won the first match on previous day against Cyplenkov only after Cyplenkov had just destroyed himself against Richard Lupkes in that WAR with 3 re-startes!! And even when Cyplenkov was very tired after the war with Richard he still seemed to not feel Michael's attacks and lost only for a matter of endurance IMO (if you watch carefully the 2nd start in their first match, just after the go, Cyplenkov still managed to block Michael's press almost smiling and pulled him through it), so if Cyplenkov easily blocked Michael's press once after he had already had a tremendous war with Richard Lupkes, why a fresh Devon would not be able to do the same thing in your opinion??... Ok, Michael Todd will surely be stronger than how he was at Arnold's, no doubts about it, but I doubt that Michael would be MUCH stronger than his Arnold's shape, he was in a very great condition on that day and he already was about 128 kg of weight... I personally think that Devon has less side pressure strenght than Cyplenkov (or than Voevoda, side pressure does not seem to me best Devon's attribute) but Devon surely has the best defensive hook in the whole world (probably the best defensive hook of all times) so, I think there will be long tough matches because Devon has not the same side pressure of Cyplenkov to quickly finish the matches as Dennis did in the Arnold's final, but if Cyplenkov perfectly managed to hold Michael's press once, I don't see why Devon would not be able to do the same (considering also that Devon is one of the bests technical and full rounded armwrestlers of the world, if not the best, while Dennis pulled only with brutal bicep strenght to hold that press, while Devon will block it with a perfect position ), and eventually hardly find a way to win in every match (I think Devon has all the necessary skills to do it, he can pull well in many ways and he is very intelligent and a very good tactician on the table). I really like Michael Todd, he has surely been one of my 3 favourite armwrestlers for many years, I have always enjoied a lot to watch his videos, but this time I honestly can't see how he can win.... so IMO 6-0 or 5-1 for Devon. Best result Michael can achieve is a 2-4 JIMO (winning the last round or the last two for a matter of endurance, but considering that also Devon almost has the same endurance of Michael, I will not be surprised if Devon manages to win all the rounds 6-0). If Michael wins this challenge I will be VERY surprised and very happy for him because he is a great warrior and NOBODY trains and prepares harder than him!!!

Actually Mike, I believe Don Underwood is very capable (as he has proven to be) but he is not the kryptonite for Devon that I was thinking of. IMO the only guy who can overcome Devon's rediculous strenght, endurance, and ability to control the hand is a guy with a rediculous side/high/backward hit, and that is Andrey Pushkar. I think Pushkar's style would pose significant problems for Devon, as Underwood's does, only Pushkar is a stronger more explosive version of it! Remember the last guy who really handled Devon? It was Taras Ivakin. What style did Taras employ? That same eastern, soviet block, high blasting side back hit. I think that is Devon's weakness. I'll even throw this out there. I think Devon would have a hard time catching another awesome puller who's style mimics Ivakin's and Pushkar's. A 220lbs Arsen Liliev could be a nightmare for Devon IMO! I think another guy who would give Devon a great deal of issues is a 100% Travis Bagent. But one fact remains the same. If DL catches you or stops you, ITS OVER! I dont care if its Cyplenkov, Underwood, Michael Todd, Pushkar, Vovoeda, Brzenk, Bath, Randall, Cadorette, Arsen, ect. ITS OVER!
