I have been around longer then most. And I have more respect for Chad then most. Chad does his talking on the table. And I have never heard him bad mouth anyone. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe Chad has won nationals at 121,132,143,154,165,176,187,198 , Chad is acting hungery again. I guess all the questions will be answered at the Arnold. I am just hoping I will be there chasing George with everyone else

George is very beatable. He does not use tricks or armwrestle outside of the rules, his shoulder is fine and does not drop below the table. It seems he's the most scrutinized armwrestler there is but still VERY rarely gets fouled out.
The thing is, someone either needs to teach you how to beat George or you must be astute enough to figure it out for yourself. Almost everyone thinks they know how to beat him, VERY few do. It was nice to see George win another Arnold with the "worlds best" coming to take it from him.
I think it's cool that an "old man" like George is the champion, it brings something out of the ordinary to our sport. The casual observer is drawn to something like that and finds it entertaining and interesting. Long live King George!!
It seems I've gone way off topic. My apologies to Mr. Silvers and Mr. Tullier for hijacking.

I can understand what Mr. Milne is saying to a degree. Seeing an older guy win so much is cool, the way George pulls "entertaining and interesting" not at all for me. I think even though MT does it now and again, it doesn't bother me because he seems to be all over the table and adjusting as he goes. It's when you just drop on go and sit there that I can't stand. ok i will not go into too deep but within the rules that Artem Taynov won the last WAF, George would have lost against Artem ( www.armsbyjc.com/ day 1 part 3 pictures) because of humerus bone being down angled foul rule and because of the parellel pin rule at the angled & higher pin pads of WAF. after his 3. and 4. placement of George at 2002 & 2003 WAFs George never pulled WAF ever again even in 2008 Canada and 2010 USA WAFs. and yes he wins at Arnolds where he is allowed to lower his shoulder below table to bring his locked angle above the pin pad. George is the king of the Arnolds but can not win within the international rules.Zoloev, Taynov,Lengarov,Janis and a few others would beat him under 176 as long as its within the rules that world accepts.

Thank you for bringing sanity back to the conversation Let's do a comparison of georges opponants and you will see he has the same wars with mid level pullers as he does with top notch pullers, george has a crazy lock but regularly lowers his shoulder belowe the elbow pad while in the losing position.......here's a new trick for george to try beat anyone in the first 20 seconds of the match if he does I will be shocked

Bill, Chad & George pulled years ago.
Ryan - could you possibly change the title of the thread? This is truly a disservice to both Chad & Craig. Right now, Chad is THE man at 80kg, hands down. He has nothing to prove. Craig and I have had a couple of conversations over the past few days. Yes, he's wanting to get back into armwrestling but has no intention of challenging anyone. He's got to travel the come back road and he knows it.

Karen, Thank you. Do you remember the result of Chad & George's pull? Chad is the man now - no doubt. However, I am a huge Craig fan and believe that if he stays injury free - he would be the man. Though I am old and feeble, I do not remember Chad beating Craig.
I doubt Craig would ever challenge anyone - would seam out of character for him.

You're right Bill would be tremendously out of character for either Chad or Craig to challenge anyone. George won. Chad took him within an inch of pinning him, George stopped him, and of course at that point we all could have ordered lunch and dinner. LOL This was back in the day of our GNC events. Also Chad pulled him at the Show of Strength and I think Chad won. Almost positive he did. If Craig can stay injury free and get back to where he was, I guarantee you I will have front row seats when these two run into each other again.
