A few days ago, I made a poll on my armwrestling blog ( www.IronArm.net) "Who Will Be the King of the Left - Travis Bagent vs. Denis Cyplenkov (Left hand)?", and there have been 87 votes so far. Honestly, when I first made a poll, I thought that most people would vote for Travis Bagent as I did. However, it seems like Denis Cyplenkov has gained a lot of reputation in a very short period time in the world of armwrestling... 60 votes to Denis Cyplenkov...and 27 votes to Travis Bagent. I'm frankly shocked!

No disrespect but to have Travis a huge under dog against anybody lefty is a joke and if anybody wanted to make a friendly bet I would love to get 3 to 1 odds lol

I think the poll looks correct. Cyplenkov should be the favorite in this match up (in my opinion).
I'd be surprised if Travis can win this. Unless he's dedicated himself to this a great deal more than he's shown in the last little while he'll get turned in and handled.

If Travis shows up half way ready to keep his title he will win easly. If the Travis we know comes in he should have Denis thinking and second guessing his grip which way he should go and every other thing every russian coach will tell him. Thats what travis does best! Makes you mind F--- yourself. And he is still a freak so it just adds to the simplicity of winning.

I take back my last statement not that Travis wont do this and win but it wont matter cause unless they pull fresh for fresh everybody on here will have an excuse or what he hadnt pulled this guy right before or what if he wouldnt of played around here or Denis looks to small at 315 he would of won or the travis from a couple of years ago would of killed it. So lets see what happens. tournament format Travis's hard hit and mind games will do way better then Denis trying to power threw the zloty JMO

Either way it's going to be interesting. I generally have little interest in LH armwrestling but I'm excited to see how this turns out.

If Travis is in shape for this, and I heard he is big strong and nasty right now, then he will win, JMO

Did you hear any news on Travis' weight Josh? Or Dennis' for that matter?
I hope they are both at their best.

My votes for Travis... I think his speed will be too much for Denis!
That being said, it will still be interesting to see... if he catches Travis, who knows??

Its hard to call, but I would lean toward Denis. If he can contain Travis, his power will win out. If Travis gets out, its over.
However, you never know how the draw will go. Travis could be across the bracket from Denis....they might not meet until the finals, and one or two long matches could make a huge difference.

Igor is noted for putting the best or 2nd best matches first....So it can go Denis vs Travis or Travis vs Pushkar, or Pushkar vs Denis, first....
Pushkar, Also is FAST AND STRONG....
My heart is with Travis...But this is a tough call....Denis is FRIGGIN STRONG with an enormous hand, that can get around the back of Travis' easily.... Travis has to get "into" Denis" head, like only Travis can...Travis being "fast" won't help if Denis applies a TON of side pressure and stops Travis' devastating "hit"...
If and thats IF, Denis OR Pushkar stops Travis' "hit", Travis is in for a tough day....
GET EM TRAVIS!
BTW...Jerry Cadorette wiill win RIGHT.....If not, it will be on Jerry fouling out....Very tight reffing, especially with cameras
