. I agree with Rob. Cause when I asked what the weight class was this is the response I got. So that would tell me that it is for a 175lb title not a 165lb. I would assume being that it is Don's event that he would know what class that title is for.

"Here we go once again a sick sick card : 165 world title match Ethan Fritsche vs Craig Tullier WOW 198 world title match Bill logsdon vs Steve razor 225 world title match Steven green vs stump Burton Open toproll world heavyweight Nick zinna vs Paul fisher Don't forget the open event bring it . We will also be having a birthday bash for don fritsche and me so lets get it on."
That was Don's original post. I won't speak for him or any of the toproll athletes, but I think it opened up to 175 (depending on challenger) when Craig became unavailable. They don't want to have a hole in the lineup. I don't think Ethan wants to give up 10 or 15 pounds to anybody at this level, let along Chad Silvers...even though he is a wonderful puller and competitor.

That clears it all up, by saying that Ethan is willing to give up weight only to pullers he thinks he well be able to pull with by doing so. Thanks John

Not sure if sarcasm lol. That isn't what I said, in fact I said the opposite...at this level (national champ/world qualifier) he doesn't want to give up any weight; especially not to Chad, for sure not 10+ pounds and definately not with a grand on the line. I don't know Ethan, and I don't presume to speak for any of the guys mentioned, I am trying to read between the lines of what was said in a very respectful way.
Would you pull Chad for 1000 if he outweighed you? Hell I wouldn't pull Chad if I weighed 300lbs for free!
There is a reason there are weight classes, and I think that the TopRoll promotion would look past that fact for the correct match up for Ethan so as not to leave an open supermatch on the billing. I don't think that Chad was the right person at this time, but there are others mentioned that would be good matchups I think.
