This could be a fun topic to discuss:
What is the best place to live in North America if you are an armwrestler? Which place has the best combination of proximity to tournaments, tournament abundance, variety of tournaments (local all the way to big money), proximity to other competitors, good training groups, etc…
Basically if an armwrestler was moving from overseas and his/her only criterion for determining where to live is “access to armwrestling”, where would you tell this person to settle?

MA is in a very good location for both training and competing. VT has Bill Sinks and his crew. NH has Badger Drewes and his crew. ME has Kurt Howgate and his crew. RI has Rick North and crew. CT has Klemba and Hirst and MA has Fitzsimmons and the 18 guys he trains. All these states run at least one or 2 tournaments a yr and both training and tournaments are usually within and hr or two drive.

California, hands down. More tournaments, more promoters, more pullers, better weather.

Anywhere outside of Cali, you gotta wait months for tournaments or drive far or fly to a venue. In Cali, we have tournaments all the time, ARMTV is here, when we have practices, people drive from other states to be here. Now the biggest league promoters are doing big things and where are they located??? California.

I agree! With the TopRoll crew and KC Arms Control....KC is loaded with talent....and it's also centrally located within the US. Many big tournaments are within driving distance.

Central Ontario. Within 3 hours you can be to any club practice, usually 2 tourneys a month, from fairs to MGC, its the whole package. Practices generally run most nights of the week at various clubs and weekends.

I agree with trapper. Somewhere in the midwest. Too many good places to pick tho. Cal has a sh** ton of good pullers. Too hard to pick one spot

California encompasses the entire western seaboard. You can drive from Florida to New York in the time it takes to drive from LA to Northern CA. As far as density of pullers, CA isn't really that great if you compare it to the entire east coast, which is a good comparison.
You can't throw a rock in Florida without hitting a team. We have events non-stop. That's why almost nobody travels. It's like being a country band in Texas- you can have a career and never have to cross the state line.
The Midwest is an awesome location. My time in St. Louis was fantastic for hitting events.
The northeast US has to be the best, though. If you look at it, it has the best talent density and armwrestling activity density anywhere. That's just an undisputable fact.
But Florida has the best weather and hottest chicks! I'm surprised we have time to armwrestle. In fact, I'm going sailing. Right now. C ya later.
