In the last year there were 140 tournements posted to this board.
98 of those tournements have posted results
42 did not post results.
Basically 30% did not share results.
Out of those who did share results the average time it took to post them was.
same day: 11%
1 day: 24%
2 day: 20%
3-10 days: 30%
10+ days: 15%
There was only about 8 individials responsible for the more than half of all postings that were shared in two days or less.
Ironically only 9 individuals are responsible for more than half of all results that were never posted.
So basically there is a handfull of individuals who share results very quickly and just a handfull who repeatedly never share, most everyone else is somewhere in between.
Out of the 42 that did not share all 42 used this board to promote the tournement prior to not sharing results, 10 are currently promoting future tournements on this board.
So the timing that it takes to post results doesnt seem to be too bad, 85% have them posted within 10 days, I think that is reasonable.
I think the bigger issue may be the 30% who choose not to share results at all on the board in which was used to promote the tournement. Thats a lot of 1st 2nd and 3rd place pullers who were probably looking forward to their placing being shared with everyone, and even more followers of the sport who just wanted to see who won what.
I have never ran a tournement to know first hand, so I will ask, is there a reason why one would not want to share results on this board?, is it just a matter of forgetting or not following through? or is one not obligated to share results on a forum? For all I know there may be legitamit reasons that I am just unaware of.
