Yea, not trying to cut in on anybody on this one. The VFW called me and asked if we would be willing to do one on that date. Their deal was already in the works. No chance of changing the date. They are handling the trophies and my guys will be running it. I'm expecting 40-50 entries. Something fun and CHEAP. Should be mostly local guys. Hope the guys from Charlotte will make it too if they aren't out of town at the others. Just a glorified practice session. (With trophies!) Wish everyone else good luck that weekend!

Rick your crew going to be pulling? I might be able to make it. To be honest Cliff, I haven't even told them about it yet but I'm sure most of them will if they are in town that weekend. I did tell Darnel and he said he didn't have his softball schedule yet for his girls. He said he would for sure be there if they weren't out of town playing ball. Hope you guys can make it. Might even have a surprise puller or two show up. Who knows?

Seem to be having some pretty good interest in this little tourney. Just bumping it back to the top. May be a little tougher to win this one than I had originally thought. Address and all details are listed above. Call me if you plan on attending. Good pullers draw more good pullers!

Hmmm... Very interesting.
I'm finally taking my kids on our first real vacation in several years. We're heading up to DC, out to Luray, and then I'll be making my way down through Maggie Valley, NC earlier in the week before your event. The goal is to make it back to FL in time for TK's event. But if something crazy happens and I'm still up in the area who knows.
I'm just hoping and praying this doesn't turn into the Griswolds' Vacation, but if it does at least there are a few tournament options...

John, next time try and stay around DC a little longer. You could have came up to my house and taught me a few things. You seem to have as much knowledge as anyone that post and I am always open to learning.

Hey rick looks like i'm going to be able to make. It's close and of course easy on the old pocket. I hope you do have good turnout. Table time always good no matter what the numbers are.

Starting to look like the middle weight classes are going to be pretty strong. I might have to jump up a class myself!

This one is going to turn out to be ok after all. I'm dragging all the old timers out of the woodwork. Roger Pareja and he THINKS his brother Robertas will be here. Robert Plyler plans on coming and trying his luck as well. I have a couple more that haven't pulled in years planning on coming as well. Should be fun. See you in two weeks!
