Tim looked great, gave Worlds number 1 all he could handle, took it to the wire! I am not bashing Devon, just saying Tim clearly showed he is at the top. Wow!

All I can say is that even though Tim did not technically win this supermatch, that was the most impressive performance I have seen by anyone in years.
I think the last time I was that impressed with another puller's performance was back in 2008 ...

Hi All...This is Jodi Larratt, Devon's wife. As i don't have an account of my own, thought I'd steal his avatar to voice my opinion on this incredible match up. It goes without saying that I am slightly biased when it comes to my favourite armwrestler in the world but I do want to say a few things that I think are relevant. First off, I want to thank Ian Carnegie of the MLA and Eric Roussein for bringing this match together. Eric ran a top notch tournament at the Toronto Pro Show. It was unfortunate, however, that so few armwrestlers from Ontario showed up...where were you all??? At this point, I will offer a personal thank you to all of the women who didn't enter, as it made it quite easy for me to win my first pro tournament. But to all the competitors who competed, congratulations on a great day. Now, onto Devon & Tim... Understand that I speak with a certain amount of insight when it comes to what Devon thinks and does, so here we go. In NO way, did Devon underestimate Tim's strength, ability or armwrestling intelligence. Infact, it was quite the opposite. Devon clearly knew he would have a serious battle on his hands when fighting Mr. Bresnan. Many discussions about the under ranking of Tim Bresnan have taken place in our home over the past several weeks. Devon had and has nothing but the utmost respect for Tim and it appeared from everything I PERSONALLY witnessed, that Tim feels the same way about Devon. It boggles my mind that if these two amazing competitors can treat each other with such a level of respect, than why is it so difficult for others to do the same (Opitz...in case there was any question as to whom I'm referring). Next...Devon's weight...yes he came in lighter than usual...yes, weighing more than 80lbs less than Tim. I will NOT get into it any further than this, but he had some dietary restrictions based on a health issue that is NOT serious that prevented him from packing on pounds before this match as he would usually do in preparation (and we're really only talking a matter of 10 or so lbs anyway). With all the respect that I could have for a person, I congratulate Tim Bresnan on his performance against my husband. He did an amazing job and truly had my cortisol levels shooting through the roof (that's a hormone released during stressful times...for those of you who are not intelligent enough to know that..Optiz...just in case it wasn't clear to whom I was referring). But that being said...and here is where I want to make a very clear and important point. Devon Larratt IS the number one armwrestler in the world. He has won this title repeatedly and defended it against Tim last weekend. Whether or not Tim is or looked stronger, whether or not you have a problem with the reffing (which you shouldn't..it was well reffed), whether or not it was close, whether or not Tim or anyone else could beat him in a tournament, whether or not you like the format, whether or not the earth is round or flat (it's round...just so you know, Opitz)...Devon Larratt, who is an all NATURAL HEAVY weight (meaning he leaves the pharmaceuticals at the pharmacy...someone else can feel free to translate that for Opitz) competes against the best SUPER heavy weight armwrestlers in the world and has beaten them all so far. I implore all of you, to give credit where it is due. Devon won against Tim because, at the end of the day, he was the better armwrestler. Within the confines, rules and regulations of this sport, he won. If another competitor fouls out, it means, they did not have the ability at that time to win the match without doing so. It does not mean anything other than that. If you lose on fouls, it's a loss. End of sentence. Devon gives his heart, soul, mind and body to this sport. He puts every ounce of himself into his matches. He limped away from this match with among other things, a torn hamstring and a musculature consisting of hamburger. He won against yet ANOTHER beast! I am honoured to know this amazing spirit and to be able to call him my husband. Congratulations, Devon. You are the number one arwrestler in the world! And to anyone who thinks otherwise, shut your effing mouth. I'm so sick of the disrespect. Honestly...great job Tim...you scared me...but better job Devon. Hold your head high and be as proud of your accomplishments as I am. Don't let jealous, pathetic, insulting people with far too much time on their hands take anything away from what you've achieved. You deserve the title. You inspire me to push myself to ever higher limits...thank you for all you are. I love you.

I love Jodi. She's awesome. She puts to words what a lot of us feel. The top ten would make mincemeat out of most of us on the board any day of the week. The dedication they have is phenomenal. Let's celebrate the best athletes in our sport. Tim Bresnan really impressed me with this match, and as always, I enjoy a Devon supermatch. I want more of them, and I'm glad athletes like these travel to make it happen for us fans of the sport. Why cut them down?

Well Jodi I hope and prayer health is good Devon is good , but the video does not lie, Tim controlled your husband in every bout except for the two the reffs let him start with his shoulder in, we all bitch and cry when things don't go are way, and you have to admit their was a little favortism towards Devon. Devon is god gifted, but at 235 and natural, in a touranment , with Tim B Jerry C, Ron b, John B, Arsen L, Richard L, Dennis Cly, Don U, Ferit O, Todd H, Andrew p , Michael Todd, And your husband Devon at 235, Devon wouldn't crack the top 5 list. thats my opinion with Devon at his natural 235 lbs, Ps I did not say anything about Steroids Or Human Growth Hormone, or Myostatin enchancement. But Devon did look small and his muscles in his arms looked flat compared to other videos. Thank you for your Response, these are my opionions.
