Wow guys. This was my best performance i have ever had up to this point. I made a big cut to get down to 198's and it was all worth it. God definitely gave me favor today. Up to this point i hadnt had ANY WINS in the open classes pulling 242 & 220's. Today i got several wins on awesome pullers. Whether it be a fluke or not i was excited to get them, theyre all great guys and it was my pleasure to pull with them. I got a win over my training partner kodie groves, also got a win in on mark taggart and ryan barnett. Also had really good battle with josh bishop in the finals. I learned alot. The bishops are class acts in person regardless how they talk on the board. Lol The tournament was an awesome turnout and was an awesome venue. Gulley & jackie put alot into it and it showed. Well done guys. Happy to be a part of such a great event

Just wanted to say I had a great time competing again, at such a quality event! I think this makes about my 4th tournament in the last 12yrs but two now in a couple months! (not sure what that means) What can I say about Ron Bath that hasn't already been said, but I sure am glad he's on our side!!! Josh, fantastic win against huge competition! Lots of heart and attitude, it was fun to watch. Tim, it just wasn't your day, but your competitive spirit and tenacity at the table is awesome and even at my age, I'm learning from you! Oh, and btw I think the next practice will be off the chart! Joe, keep pulling and pulling, because it will pay off eventually with big wins for you. Josh 2, you kicked some serious butt as well. I was so wrapped up with what I was doing, I didn't see exactly where you finished, but I know you did very well. It was fun seeing some of the oldtimers I've known for years. They're like the energizer bunny. (Lee, Glenn) Lol. Looking forward to more practice with the great group we have and hopefully more tournaments together in the future!

Talked to David Maxwell and he seems to be doing ok. When we had the the ice on his neck I asked him if he had family with him and he said yes. His wife was on the way to the hospital and he would be ok. I would have took of but there was no way I could have left. They took him to middle tn medical a mile away from the venue. His wife drove him back to savannah ga along with his two kids. David Maxwell is a accountant 38yrs old and told me he has plenty of time off at work.
David Maxwell 912 441 7353 211 Gloucester Rd Savannah GA, 31417
Please write and show David some love.
David was informed about the arm break positions and feels himself he was in good position. He had beat the guy left handed already and right handed David hit hard almost to the pad, the guy caught him started to bring him back then the break happen.
It was a clean break, so no surgery required.
