Come on really! everybody thinks that there is no women in the U.S. that can beat her! I truly believe our women can hold there own. what about Margie what about Brandy what about Desiree and many more. Sarah is good but she is not the best.

Nice thread Anyway, Steve, I beated Margie 2 years ago (Round Robin in Canada) and Brandy 1,5 years ago (UAL, LA). I dont know who Desiree is. I'm sorry that american women aren't so active as the europeans, well ONE - Emma Clark, and she is swedish <3 I asked who is the best american woman right now and I got Robin Chandler as answer, so we will have this supermatch on Jan 5 in Tennessee, best out of 5 both hands! World ranking overall says Im on 4th place right handed (Irina, Egle, Heidi above me) so I guess you're not so active in women's armwrestling Steve Looooooooove from Sweden.

Good point Sarah. I just think we should back our country's women. You are very good its just hard for me to believe that there is so little interest in this sport for our women here. I have a picture of you and my son from 2010 worlds in Nevada he was in the Jr class and he loves that pic. ;D thanks for taking the time to pose with him in it.

Our best female armwrestler is NOT Robin Chandler and whoever told you that is an IDIOT. The last few active female pullers we have in the US are rolling their eyes reading this crap.
No disrespect to you Sarah but I can't believe you are flying all the way here for this match. I sincerely hope that your flight was paid for as part of the deal for you to take this match.

I was gonna say (but got beat to it) that no disrespect meant to any of our female pullers, but I doubt any of them will have anything for Sarah... BUT, Charity Messer's left looks unstoppable in the USA lately so I would be interested to see if she could do anything with Sarah!

OK obviously it is Sarah's prerogative and right to pull Robin if she so chooses, but at least let Charity Messner pull Sarah left as that is our current number one ranked left female puller in the unlimited class. From the majority of comments regarding this subject it is obvious this left hand super-match would go a long way at making Sarah's trip over here more credible and respectable in the eyes of the majority of the pullers posting about this thread. Just saying.

In the very early 90's USA sent a team to Russia to AW against the current Russian Olympic Weightlifting team. These were the some of the strongest men on the planet in the gym. USA beat them handlely. It took several years after that before Russia started to do well at AW. Food for thought Interesting Bob! Can you recall any of the US pullers that participated?

It is sad that Robin is all we have to offer but it is what it is, Europeans in general just train harder and take the sport more seriously, we don't have much to offer up as far as men go either. I think there is only one way to be competitive with the Europeans, but anyway...
Charity would have nothing for Sarah left or right sorry, she could only beat me in the strap left handed and A. I don't pull left handed and B. I had a torn rotator cuff and crushed nerve, waiting for surgery now, I had no business pulling left but figured it wouldn't injury me any worse than it was already. Don't get me wrong, right now I think Charity is the most consistent training puller right now and is super strong I love pulling her!!! But as for a match with Sarah it would not be anything for Sarah.

Joe - The members of the US team that originally travelled to Moscow in August 1989 to expose the Russians about organized armwrestling were:
Ray Darling Ray Taglione Alan Bown Socrates Fronhoffer Badger Drews Darren Courtemarche Robert Greenberg Jim Carman Michael Veillette Tom Imperato Larry Fontaine Brian McSherry
Ray Darling was the main organizer.
I'll eventually be writing an article about the trip.
