Great pullers, hot girls, but,.......B O R I N G as hell to watch live. Why? Too long to set up (only to slip out or finger pull), too many fouls, too many fouls determining a winner and too long to get a winner in general. Also, no background music is a snoozer. This event will take 6-8 hrs to run at this rate and the already bored spectators will be checking out. TK and Jesse, you're my boy blue, you are digging hard and I respect it, but I'm sorry, this isn't a "new face of armwrestling" this is like putting spinners on a pinto... Listen, I love pullin'. It's what I do, but after 2 rounds I was mentally checking out. Looking at fox news and facebook until I heard "ready go". WTF, the sport needs a kick in the junk!

Great competition. Many of those guys are real close and could win on any day. Giles i agree with the setup taking forever, i was just saying the same thing. Letting them mess around before the start way too long. Other than that it was fun to watch

Armwrestling will never make for a great spectator sport, or for great live TV. It can be tweaked in a number of ways to get it closer, but the nature of the sport just isn't ideal for spectating. At best, shorten up the time spent gripping up, reduce slips and fouls/warnings, and edit it even further for television.

Editing and production make awing fun to watch. Check ArmWars.
IMO the format is fine. You have to let guys work, especially in a RR format. Set grips won't make it more exciting imo. Neither will 30 second ref grips or starting matches hook or strap.
Make the guys get on deck, tell them no messing around getting to the table. (Awers) Stop trying to compose yourself at the last minute and stepping away from the table for any friendlyking reason. If you leave the table it's a warning. Most of the time the awers are just buying time, trying to look cool, creatures of habit ... whatever.. but make them pay for prolonging the event like that.
Get on deck. Get to the table when previous match finishes. Don't leave table until pin - or get a warning - foul etc.
Chalking after every slip?? Nobody needs that much chalk! Chalk up on deck if you need to and you're fine.
I think this could eliminate the messing about and cut down a lot of time. Be professional, get the job done and go sit down. Stop the dicking around

Every sport has time-wasting 'preparation' moments that are the equivalent of getting a grip. What makes arm wrestling difficult is that you spend 3 minutes watching the grip fight for a match that rarely lasts more than 10 seconds. It's an imbalance unlike Alost any other sport.
