Thanks, I was going for a wide variety of matches that would appeal to folks at different levels. The Vaz-Bishop match up was all Gulley setting it up and I think that it will be interesting for the seasoned pullers to watch along with people that have never seen organized arm wrestling. I'm glad to see Ray get out on this side of the state along with LaRay. TAA guys are liking the east/west challenges and it will help determine who should be ranked where for the guys that don't travel much. It will also be nice to see the big guys go at it for the top spot in TN.

I'm tired of hearing all this crap about novice shouldn't have super matches and it should only be elite pullers. Honestly there is just as much buzz about Duck and LaRay as any other match up. It's bringing the state a little closer and it's got the potential to bring a lot of new guys to spectate that haven't really pulled before. Plus, I think it appeals to the lighter weight 154 who wants to try arm wrestling but only has Bull Hurley pictured in their mind from over the top thinking they could never compete with that.

Your doing a great job Jeff.
75 to 100 novice!
Lets say in time we have 150 novice pulling at a tournament from TN and i wouldn't be surprised if we reach that number at Harley Pull, that is great numbers for any open/pro tournament.
TAA has been about novice from day 1. Its our focus. Our local focus, direction and hard work. doesnt mean people are not doing the same back home. Im sure they are, because it works.
Point is. TAA does the most we can putting our time, energy and money into growing the novice. Its our teams choice. No hater in the world can say something bad about welcoming a new guy to the sport. Some may say cuddling has to stop. Well to them I say my son is welcome, my sons new friend is welcome and so is ole snotty nose Tommy from down the street.
We got a lot of work to do locally. This year im a going to do my best to get all 7 high schools in this county going at it. If not this year then next year. Ill make it happen for sure. by the time Davis gets going i might even have it ready for him in elementary school.
Looking forward to this Jeffrow! I had them cheerleaders going at it last year. Good ole Vaz is going to like these country girl cheerleaders. Maybe he will help me down side referee for the cheerleaders, lol.
Come on spring time!!!

LOL, thanks Jason.
The cheer leaders, dance team, or pom squad from APSU may be there since the marketing director did all that stuff in college. The Harley Hotties (they have a few new recruits) will be there in full force.
My goal is 100 novice at the Harley Pull, and by my count we easily have 50 novice entries at this point that are NOT local new pullers. We should reach and exceed the goal.

Dave Marrocco VS. Glenn Brooks best of 3 right handed added!
Total of 6 super matches but reduced some of the best of 5's to 3's. Still waiting to hear a final word if Bucky/Gulley will happen. We will have to run super matches on two tables on the stage but we can get them all in in 45min-1 hours.

Here are a couple videos from AL State of Tracy Fann (our undefeated #1 RH lady puller) vs. Macy Armstrong (who dominated left and right at AL states) This is partly why we are having two weight classes for the ladies at Appleton's.

No, she misunderstood me. I told her that the other ladies should be glad that she is in the +143 class. lol, either way with a little work and interest she will be one tough lady to beat.
