Delmar, please keep encouraging the smaller guys to get in on the action. Last year we had 5 in the right 175 and 4 in the left 175 and it was, and is usually TN's weakest class. Sounds like we have Duck, Russell, Steven Durr, Brighton guy, Heath Laster the Alamo guy, and LaRay Jenkins before we add any of the local guys that will come out for their first time pulling. Off to a great start, we should easily have +10 in the 165lbs class!! You guys should contact Gary Brooks and McKenzie McBride from the old calling list, along with several others who may show if given a heads up. I used to work my way down that list before every tournament, great tool! David, who has it? Gulley, if you have the master list I would be glad to work my way down and make some calls.

I have a droid app that can send the tournament info to as many people as you want at any date & time.
I got that master list and a bunch of sign up papers at home.
I got you man. A simple 2week out text works great.

Just ordered these for the overall. Supposed to be "life size arms" and weighs over 10lbs each. With the big interest and strong possibility we will have double digits in every class I went ahead and ordered one for left handed overall as well. These are not cheap looking sculptures and the guys who walk away with these will be very well earned. My suggestion is going to be that the overall winner is no longer a novice moving forward. Come get one!!

Also, had an out of state guy contact me to say he was entering the heavy novice class but after researching a little bit I found out he is NLAN. There is a lot of interest in the novice classes due to the cash give-a-way and awards but I will not sacrifice the intergrity of the tournament by letting open pullers enter to clean house. Novice class will be strictly enforced and will be novice pullers only. Here is the criteria I am basing no longer a novice off of:
No more than 3 novice wins with more than 4 in class with respective hand No wins over known pro pullers Winning an open class Never won a national novice championship or high caliber tournament TAA directors discretion (ie. proven to be domiate and no longer competitive in the novice class, coming back from being out a few years and are worried you may not be effective in the opens again, have ever been a troll on the NE board, lol)
There are open classes offered for those that are brining novice, want to win some decent $$ or just want to get in on the action. I will tell you this, there will be no small classes and each 1st place victory will be well earned.
If there is any question please call or text: 731-402-1000
