Either way we know it's between those three for top dog.
I think it will be a bit messy trying to sort it all out but competition is good.

No, but considering I was 202 dressed and he was heavier than me... And considering it wasn't a "198" event in Vegas... It was 190... That could be argued too... Seems to be a bunch of bias... But I won't fight the fight... I'll just keep on keeping on If your 198.1 it doesnt count

It's an odd concept... The rank and weight thing... You can both be competitive 98ers... Then meet at a weight where there is no weight class... He was the heavier... That should count, but people on here are figgidy FU(KED in terms of weight mindset and the weight debate.
Looks like I'll never be number 1 98 again... Seeing how UAL is 205... I'll just own that class... Then when we all take off our sneakers to make 98... I'll have no ranking... Even though I'll have beat all those guys at a few lbs heavier... Crayyyyzayyyy.
Derek you must consult with josh... You guys have the same logic

If you are within 5 lbs of the weight at a tournament of that style/caliber it should be acceptable. Especially if you are wearing 5 lbs shoes.

Should RVJ be ranked number 1? My original thought was yes. Sure Todd pulled last week and I don't understand how he can even move his arm after his matches with Ford but he put his arm up on the table. Also I know Todd usually pulls hard a few days before tourneys anyways. And I already heard he was heavier than RVJ as well. Opinions? FYI I sen the rankings in before RVJ beating Todd.
As for the UAL classes, that's a good one, I will use the 205 class for rh 98 rankings as long as those pullers also pull a 98 class at least once a year (so I know they can still make that weight). But since their not allowed to pull elsewhere to my knowledge the 205 class guys eventually will not be ranked in the 98's. same with 165 guys not being ranked in 54. 85 not in 76. Makes sense. The other option is to make 2 rankings. But I suspect the UAL might make their own rankings anyways?

Since opinions are like.... bellybuttons, in the meaning that everybody's got one, here is mine: In my mind, for a number of years now RVJ would absolutely demolish any 198 pounder in North America. And I truly struggle to see how other people cannot see this. The only two exceptions I could think of would be John B. (who is now 225?? and hasn't been 198 in a few years I think, right?) and I was thinking of Toddzilla (who for a long time was inactive), but I heard Rob beat him easily last weekend. You can namy any other dude you want... but some facts about Rob make him really stand out, for example. What other 198 pounder can stop Underwood's hit center table like Rob did? What other 198 pounder has beaten Dave Chaffe in an official match? What other 198 pounder has snatched a win, FRESH, off Sylvain Perron in a grueling war, years ago still being almost a newbie? What other 198 pounder has beaten John Brzenk in PRACTISE after a long grueling match? (practise doesn't count, but still, when it's against John B. it's gotta have some influence). What other 198 pounder do you think would be able to get THREE wins on a huge-looking Marcio Barbosa, and only lose their 7th match in a war? Lastly, I love the arguing over 2 or 5 pounds.... Rob since his early days has taken challenge matches with the likes of Tom Taylor (280?), Chaffee (267 at the moment?), Sylvain (also heavier than him), etc. Always outweighed. That attitude is part of the reason I admire the guy. And all of the above in somewhat untrained state... Can you spell "man-crush"? LOL. Guilty as charged!

I love RVJ but I don't think you can use his win over Hutchings as a 198 rankings gauge. It was not a 198 event. It's that simple.
Arturo, Allen Ford is 1-0 vs RVJ. He's not demolishing EVERYONE.
Another note. Was his win on Sylvain at 198? I don't think it was (but I could be wrong). I'm sure RVJ can correct me.
His accomplishments stand on their own, no need to embellish them.
However, all that being said Josh, they are your rankings. Do what you want, you already know you can't make everyone happy. Rob would be great as The Champ.

I would love to see a fresh Toddzilla n Rob go at it in a super match at 200 for #1 spot theres no way Todd was fresh after winning a 30 man class from the b side . But I think Rob is badd ass on the table might even beat a fresh Toddzilla at 200

.... Well... The reason I'm bent about ford is I layed down... I was hurt... Couldn't move my shoulder.... I made a choice to pull one of the guys... And I gave it a go with kade... And beat him With Allen I layed it down... I promise you ... Rankings aside, now my shoulder is good... I will catch his hit all day... I caught the best hits in the game.... With much more horsepower connected to them... Allen can't pull that flash Sh!t... He has a win, but he never beat me
Rank him how you want, you guys are in for a surprise
