It might be worth mentioning no clothing allowance on the FB page, since it's a change from last year.

COMPETITORS MAY ONLY PULL 1 CLASS PER CATEGORY.
EXAMPLE: RIGHT HAND NOVICE 165LBS, RIGHT HAND 176LBS, MASTERS RIGHT HAND 199LBS. NOT RIGHT HAND NOVICE 165 LBS AND RIGHT HAND NOVICE 198LBS.

So basically one class per arm. So I could do both left and right 154. Right?

Hopefully, the last change. Joe has changed his mind and you guys can pull as many classes as you want.

Getting pumped to make this my last little league bout. After POTM I'm gonna get destroyed in the opens. I hope there is a huge +199lbs turnout in the novice so I can go out with a bang!!

What is the requirement to pull novice? All of the following would disqualify you from novice: No question you should not pull novice: Beat a known pro Place first in an open class 3 wins with either hand with more than four in class Winning nationals novice Directors discretion: Mowing through double digit novice class with no competition Placing first in historically tough novice tournaments like KY Muscle Been pulling in novice for years picking on the new guy afraid to take lumps Those are just some examples but its ultimately up to the tournament director. Tournaments like this one has folks trying to "sneak" in the class to win some money since many novice classes don't offer a money payout.

Novices are beginning competitors. You can't have won more than 3 AAA sanctioned events. However, you can't be way too experienced having won other association's events and slide in under the rules.
Have you competed in Novice in other events?
