Doubtful... Everyone arm wrestles... Always have ... This is just a competitive view I don't know Rob. I think this show has the potential to do to arm wrestling what Chris Moneymaker did to poker. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if the sport (at least temporarily) explodes. With so any people becoming interested in the sport, I think arm breaks will rise dramatically. More so in casual competitions than in sanctioned tourneys where it's much more controlled.

Guess I'm with Jim on this one... I mean they don't put "how tos" on the x games ... I'm sure AWing will never compare to the injuries skateboards have produced... Or any other big sport for that matter.injuries are a fact of sports, some sports it's torn knees of concussions... Us it's arm breaks and tendon pops.

My point about safety was because I'm hoping many people will start doing it more, since alligators are more difficult to come by. If more people do it around their homes, and start breaking their arms or pulling something, then I'm guessing they'll stop. Thus the promoting being less effective.

I think this show is going to create a HUGE pop for local and regional level arm wrestling--it'll give those "I've never been beat" guys a little more confidence to enter a local, sanctioned, tournament and hopefully will get bit by the bug and hang in there after they go 0-2 and the sport grows...
