Doing a 1000 plus curls before I head down on Saturday to take the sting off my hit… That should give everyone a chance... Not a chance to win... but they should be able catch the match on film…

Did 1200 hammer curls right arm today before I headed to the tournament, but I lost. Note to self next time quit at 1000 curls the day of the tournament. Had a great time; it was nice to see a lot of old friends again. I did win first place in one class but it was the rested left arm. See you all soon.

Had a great time this weekend at the Nationals sit down tournament !! Big shout out to Randy for the Awesome trophies!!! There wasn't a huge turn out but definitely some bad dudes showed up. Randy says the tournament is growing every yr and is trying to bring back sit downs , hopefully next yr there will be a Evan bigger turnout cause I had a blast. Thanks Randy!!
I wanted to let my Ohio Boyz know I was proud of them bringing there A game ,we all placed in our weight classes. And mike Knepp and randy had the war of the Century!!!!
Wish you the best in bringing the sit down back it is truly legit pulling!!!!!

They should because sitdown pulling kicks a**. I had a blast yesterday and I'm glad I decided to give it a try. It is definitely true arm to arm pulling... Big thanks to Randy and all who played a part in putting this together!

I don't understand why the northeastboard will not recognize a sit-down national title? Watch the video! These pullers deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments.

Now will the northeast board recognize this as a true national championship I believe the way things are now... It should be recognized 100% It is a different discipline but still armwrestling . Like swimming... A person can get bombed out of the freestyle swim but win gold in the butterfly. Personally... As I have gone over so many times.. None of the nats should carry a true nat title until there is a solid road to the nats with local, state and regional qualifiers... And only one.... Do that champ is the man for that year... Period. Like I said though, as it is today... It deserves it's spot amongst the group of other nat titles

Well said RVJ. I like the idea of the series of qualifiers to go to nationals. Lou Maresca, damn bro you pulled great! It was so nice to see you. Tim Smith, it was nice to meet you. You have a great talent. You were so easy to ref. You set up very well. Keep up the training bro. This is the only sit-down national championship and that means whoever won their class is the true national champion! Congrats to all of the champions!

Thanks Willie! It was awesome to finally meet you too and the encouraging words mean alot to me coming from you. I would have liked to talk with you more after the event but I'm sure I'll see you around in the near future.

Don't think it'd matter this time, but in the future, do you think Sit-Down tourneys should affect rankings (inthehook and anything else)? Sit down matches are a bit different, should rankings be "stand up" rankings (in which case there'd be a separate sit-down rankings if it gets big enough) or should they both be the same? This question can be answered by anybody, but I'd like to hear RVJ's opinion in particular.

Sit down is different and 99% of events are stand up. There are sit down rankings in place already... The placings of the event make the rank. When you have one big event then it's easy to sort out rank. But if a ranked guy gets beat...or 2 ranked guys pull... It should be treated as with any other AWing match... After all it is armwrestling and you put your arm up and decided to pull that style/event. Hell, we pull on different tables and with different rules now... Which results coulda been affected if not for those variations... But in the orgs. We sign up for we are aware and pull... Winner gets the nod in my book
