If we look for the answer of the question "Who needs/wants to give problems to Worlds 2015 in USA and why?" , perhaps we may clear the situation. Money is involved in making a World Championship. Here is the key.
Basics of business says that you cannot make cardinal changes in an agreement after a country got the bid. Even if you voted those changes in Congress, they can be applied after certain time ( years in this case). The country ( USA) got the bid, prepared for that as agreement required. Let him continue and finalize his work in 2015.

Wow, that was confusing. I get the point though. What's done is done right? How do you un-win the bid? What is the motive here and what does Igor have to gain/lose? This is the home of AWing and Bill Collins, how do you argue aginst that, especially with the last couple blowouts. Confusing. Sounds dirty, will be watching this thread. WOW talk about COWARDLY policies and demands. That guy should be held accountable through sanctions. What are they gonna host it in Poland every year? Hey! Be clear - Igor and Polish Federation didn't change the contract! Don't blame us. Additionally - there is no ministry support in Poland to do the event. Price for satelite broadcast is the same like in USA or other country. But we made it. It's possible but it's hard work. I suggest to think how to do this event - not to stay in one point and holding "I can not do it". Nike say: "Just do it!" Where did I blame Poland?

Leonard: So once a bid is won, how does even the president hold up the contract? It's business, can he actually just kill the deal at will? The WAF wants things in the contract that wasn't there when the USA got the bid. It is the President of WAF that negotiates the contract with the host. Congress can step in and override the President but that should have been done last year not now. The idea last year at congress was to continue to negotiate.......that didn't work. Congress is only in power for a few hours each year and the rest of the time it is the executive board and the President. If the President has the votes of the executive board (and he does) then the President can do what he wants. Thank you sir. And my appologies to Igor. So now if we say screw it and decline to have worlds here, wouldn't they be in trouble since nobody else is in a position to host under the current terms? Or would he simply take out the impossible conditions if we dropped out?

Well, you can't spell Assen Hadjitodorov without " Ass". lol jk But thanks for finally informing the rest of us of this autocracy and that 2015 World's are no longer hosted in Las Vegas, which would be preferred by many. We had to learn of this through Chris Mallon. Second nationals 2014 doesn't make sense now, only game.

You are talking Poland, Poland, Igor blah blah blah. As the Polish Federation I can say: there is no topic here in Poland to do the World Championship in 2015... So - do not blame us or mix us with this mess before you get full info. We CAN do it, but it will take a lot of work and a lot of time for preparation. I still don't get it. This isn't about 'work and a lot of time for preparation'. This is about costs. How did Poland pull off an event that was so jaw-droppingly successful that it has raised the bar so much, and without state sponsorship? Did someone in Poland put themselves deep into debt and isn't admitting it? These events aren't exactly bigtime money makers from what I've gathered, and if it cost Poland was comparable to what we're talking about for the U.S. I don't see how that is sustainable for almost any country. Marcin, can you share how Poland managed to fund such a grand event?

Marcin, I ask you the following question because you just did the Worlds and might know these answers. Where does the satellite broadcast go to. I asked Igor in Poland, "Could the event be seen on TV in USA?" He said yes but I could not find it on TV and no one could ever see it. So Where did the Poland worlds get shown. Also its my understanding that the host has to pay for the Satellite broadcast but does not get any of the money made from the broadcast. If the cost for Broadcast is anywhere near the $150,000 that Bill spoke of. How can a Host for the worlds ever expect to cover the cost of the event? The entry fees from competitors could never pay for the worlds. So how is anyone including the WAF make any money at a WAF event? Thanks for you help

Set the bar my @$$ the writing is on the wall. This proposed contract is purely a power play to lock in a monopoly on armwrestling. If you have a European controlled WAF you can keep Worlds on one continent with little resistance. Strong arming is one way for Assen to get what he wants.

Thanks for you help TV in USA is very lucrative, unlike most of the world, having a satellite single is an uncut version of the event, and you will not get it on TV in the USA without editing and an approved production company..You can do a one time airing without an approved production company but who will see it, cause it won't hit the big network, maybe that answer your question Bob and the 150k is just the starting point. FYI me and Robert has worked on the Broadcasting side for UAL, 4 years running and to produce a 1 hour show from an approved company, it cost 80k-120k for final product..TV is mega bucks in the USA. WAF concept is on the mark but only a few country's are that type of position..

Satelite signal is going by uplink to the satelite. Then if there is some TV station interested for our sport - they are receiving satelite coordinates to download the video and: - show it live - show it after the event.
All depends of the TV station. Signal was shared for every interested station we know.
If event is in Europe and there is American TV station interested for - you have to send the signal and rent the satelite over america too (works other way too).
For other questions - I'm just the technical director.

I had a dream today and got the solution of the "problem"... Just sharing. USAF was not able to provide illegally added terms in the Contract and had to ask WAF help, trying to keep the Worlds In the USA. WAF comes to help USAF and here we go, our lovely friend Igor recently opened PAL-USA in Vegas, looks like just to save Americans by miracle. PAL-USA makes the Worlds in Vegas in high level and get all the laurels ( and $$$).
And Slovakian offer to host the Worlds in their country in 2015 and back up was a simple bullcrap. Nobody believes that. Slovakian Federation cannot even support its own athletes. It was organized by several persons. In politics it is called Political Prostitusion.
Perhaps the straight Truth hurts a lot, but I am sure those persons like straight vodka more than mixed with some bullcrap water or a juice. Whatever I hate the most, is going on here right now. We all know what they do with such people in the street or prison...
Marcin. The Worlds in Poland was awesome. Organization that Never happened before. You are a great technical specialist. But why we cannot see WAF Officials response ? I understand that you cannot have such an authorization.

I was personally with Igor during conversation with Bill Collins about the World Championship 2015. There wasn't any intence to take all laurels from USAF or someone else. Again please stop mixing our company with WAF decisions. Someone ask about other WAF Officials response. I don't know. I'm not from politic. I'm from Technical side of armwrestling and this is what I love to do.
