I will increase the 1st place ladies prize in what ever class/arm gets 30+ entries/contestants to $5001.00 making it the largest known payout in the history of armwrestling! I am even "Pulling" for you ladies to earn this by airing over 700 commercials across California leading up to the event! We support you now help us spread the word. wow $5k for the women and $10k for the big guys. how come all the other people get lower money amounts? why not pay everyone the same? See this why most don't promote and only a few in the history of our sport has promoted at this level. Whatever is done........it's never enough. You may not have meant it that way but it sure comes off like that. JMO

I think there are probably several reasons for the payout difference Travis:
1.) Most people love to see Super Heavy Weight matchups, and the only way to draw the best competition for an epic tournament (like this is shaping up to be) is to make the Unlimited class a huge payout to draw all the monsters out of the woodwork.
2.) People have complained for years about tournaments not even offering women's classes and/or women's payouts. But on the flipside, very few female pullers (if any) show up to many tournaments so promoters are stuck between a rock and a hard spot. It seems Robert's wanting to extend an olive branch and show he's willing to really support and promote female arm wrestling and with this offer he's putting it in the ladies' court...will they show if the prize money's there?
3.) This is Robert's personal money and he can choose to do whatever he wants, because he's in this sort of financial position because he was able to earn that money. He could choose to offer zero money to any arm wrestlers. He could choose to offer t-shirts and plastic trophies. He could choose to offer great payouts that are identical in every class. OR...he could choose to offer great payouts in every class and HUGE payouts to two classes in particular (Super Heavies and women's) that many people have been wanting to see for a long time. He chose to do the latter with his money, and I think he probably needs our gratitude for even offering that to pullers in the first place when he doesn't have to.
So...thank you Robert and all other promoters who offer us venues and prize money to pursue this sport we love.

I cannot believe the way people hassle a man who freely gives so much to the pullers and the sport. Or call him out on any mistakes, what they deem as mistakes anyways. He has committed more money than many of us will ever see into the sport, trully glad there are people out there like Robert. No, I'm not a UAL athlete. Personally I signed with the WAL. But this doesn't mean I can't greatly appreciate and respect the UAL. I hope nothing but the best for the UAL and hope one day Robert and everyone with the league can see a return on the investments made.

I am very thankful and we are pushing with all we have to get as many women as possible. RIGHT now we have an awesome Pre-registered showing for UAL8 and the only way to grow us up... Yes I am going to be there AND going to be in Chicago a few weeks later... We ladies are thankful for the opportunity and also thankful for the cash options that are being given, regarless of the organization. Everyone please show up and show us gals some support. WE have some serious talent going to be on the table --- lets not overshine these incredible events by who is paying what... at the end of the day, we pull because we love the sport, non of us are going to make a living on the table..... so why split hairs. wow $5k for the women and $10k for the big guys. how come all the other people get lower money amounts? why not pay everyone the same?
