In no way should USA support the 2015 WAF event. Funny how 1998 split was due to "corrupt officials" now the same type of things are going on. It is a shame that the USA executives would allow this to happen.

Yes, Ryan the USAF will support the WAF World event in Malaysia.
Steve, it is not Malaysia's fault that the WAF altered the world's contract and would not accept a previous agreement.

Karen,
Its not often we do not agree. However in this case as it is true that Malaysia is not at fault. What other recourse does the USA have to voice our displeasure or protest what WAF has done?

You're right, it's pretty rare for us not to agree. We are just a little bitty tadpole in the ocean when it comes to WAF. The US is not a great power, quite the contrary, and we are grossly outnumbered. Boycotting would mean absolutely nothing! We have to just hope that Simon, as our President, can keep trying to be heard regarding right and wrong.

Well I for one was looking forward to the Worlds being in the U.S.cant really afford to travel to other countries and I would like to go to 1 before I retire was my goal when I started this sport a lot of years ago. Here is another way of looking at it. 1. you have a year to budget and plan for the event 2. you are not just going to a foreign country alone, you will have your US team mates with you 3. that country that you are going to sets up pick up at the airport and the host hotel is off the charts 4. this is your one chance to go somewhere that you would never have the chance to go to 5. set up a I support tee shirts and sell them as fund raisers to help with the cost. 6. again you have time to plan time off just my 2 cents LH
