As for the Super matches, I have heard the requests and would love to hear more. I am considering them all. By the way, you don't have to be a "Superstar" to qualify for this. It will probably be classes of 4 instead of just two people. I want them to be "Extremely" competitive however. I don't want you to know who is going to win before they begin. Our plan is to have 4 evenly matched pullers so that no one will be able to "Bet the farm" that this person or that person will win. We are also kicking around the idea of doing something like the "Brzenk Challenge" except on a much smaller scale for time purposes.
The awards are in. We have embroidered armwrestling bags for 1st - 3rd in all the open classes. Anyone who has been to this tournament before will tell you that they LOVE the bags.
Don't forget the kids. We are doing right and left hand this year. Every kid gets an award. We had 62 last year. We hope to double that this year. Get your personal version of the "Future of Armwrestling" and make plans to attend.
We will be doing weigh ins again on Friday night at the Sagebrush Steakhouse.
They will be catering a private breakfast for the armwrestlers again as well on Saturday morning before the tournament. Best breakfast in town and it's FAST. Buffet style, ready when you walk in the door !!
ARM TV is hoping to attend. If you would like for Gary to come, LET HIM KNOW !!!!!!!!!! Reply to this post and tell him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS and I'll keep you informed more as we come up with the Supermatches and other interesting stuff !!!!

I am looking at ANY weight class. Don't think for one second that I would shaft the "Little Guy". It may not turn out that we choose a small class but it won't be one that has already been showcased a dozen times. I hope to do one class right handed and one class left handed. They will not be the same weight. I will try to do a right and a left every year until we have covered all the classes. I am leaning towards a 171 left handed class but I am DEFINATELY NOT SURE YET. I will see how it comes together. Any 171 left handers interested? I will let everyone know within 2 weeks from today. Just put it on your calender and plan to come and I promise to come up with something that you will enjoy.

Who would you guys rank as the top 10 left handed 171 and under pullers in the US or those with the possibliity of being able to make it to this tournament? Robert Plyler will probably be going to 171 very soon. Ron Klemba comes to mind. Engin is DEFINATELY top 10. Who else? ?

Jeremy,
If we do a right handed match at 171 I will definately consider you. As for left handed, I'm not sure that you could do anything for Robert Plyler and he would definately be the underdog with some of these other names that have been mentioned. Somebody ask Devin Baer or Chris Chandler if they would consider coming if the prize was at least $300. Or have them call me at 704-791-3085 and I'll ask them myself. Let me know soon though. I don't want this thing to be dragging around at the last minute.

I guess if thats what you think its your tournament and your entitled to your own opinion.
Not taking anything away from Robert but last time we pulled left-handed I had just started pulling left-handed and it has come along way since then.
I guess I will have to wait until future tournaments to pull Robert again and hopefully then you will reconsider what you had just written.
Remember I am also entitled to my own opinion
