Mike, I wish you a full recovery!
Seems like a good time to share a little advice with "love" to our armwrestling family.
If you don't know what your "lipid" & "BP"numbers are and you are over 30 years old, it might be a good thing to find out. You can't stop all MI's with treatment ( Mike may have been treating his.) but it with greatly reduce your chances of an event. Over one third of people who have an MI don't survive to the ER.
Sorry for the "un-festive" remarks during this Christmas week.

Mike had his heart cath and they said he had (4) blocked arteries. One was 90% blocked, two were 75% and one was 50%. He will be having quadruple bypass surgery at 8 a.m. in the morning. Please pray for Mike and his family. Contact # is 704-783-2413 although I am sure be won't know that he is in this world for about 2 days. Give him a couple days and give him a call. His wife's name is Angel.

:oWOW!!! He is fortunate that he went to the hospital when he did. That's incredible... however, so are doctors these days...
Hoping for a safe surgery and quick recovery for Mike... He is also fortunate to have an "Angel" by his side continually...

Mike! Get your a$$ out of that hospital and back on the table! You're too damn strong of a person to let this get you down! Don't make me come over there and kick your... Seriously, take care of yourself and slow down a bit. I know you're tenacious about being stubborn, but this is nothing to fool around with. Take care my friend and know your whole other family is out here praying for you. Give them the Christmas present of healing up and hanging around a few more pair of decades. See ya buddy -

Big Mike came through surgery O.K. They said everything went as good as could be expected. He should be waking up very soon. Not much more to tell. When I know more I will let everyone know. Keep him in your prayers.

Rick, other than the number you provided, do you have the name of the hospital and what room # he is in?
Thanks

It is Northeast Medical Center in Concord, NC. I think his room # is 2413. His wife told me of how many of you have called already and she just couldn't believe it. She seems to be holding up just fine. His cell phone # is 704-467-6481. His home # is 704-986-0998. He should probably be home by Wednesday if he continues to do well.
