Just got back from the Can-ams. What a difference in the way it was ran from last year. It was done at least 4 hours faster. Joe Milano did a great job with the brackets, Great completion, with questionable refereeing. I'm working on some pics and videos to show some very obvious elbow fouls that weren't called in the finals. I understand refs have an unthinkable job and I would never want to do it. But last week it happened at the apple grapple and now this weekend. Whats going on? Just wanted to put in my 2 cents. And vent a little.
James .......love ya man

James, Keep the trophy. As I didn't even stay to get my left trophy. I do feel I got screwed. Just seems to be the theme lately with us. You know what I mean. What made me feel better was the fact that not only did I see it others did as well. Pulling you brings out the competitive side in most people including me. No hard feelings.
How did I feel in the straps?

Frank, I am sorry you felt screwed and I hate to win on controversy, you know that. Frank I hope you now understand why I don't like pulling friends a tournaments. When two men get their adrenaline pumping and try to rip each other's arms off there is always an underlying theme of dislike. I hate that side of competition. It is ugly and not necessary to me I feel at this point in my life. I will continue to enter classes that my friends I train with are not pulling in b/c I don't want there to be any ill feeling between us. I like to think that what we do each week at my house is not only good for us in terms of developing strength but is also an outlet to be with friends. BTW: Your hand and wrist felt very good in the straps. At first I thought you were going to hook me.
