I'm not going to drive you crazy with this one but we are going to have a tournament in New London, NC (About 30 miles east of Charlotte) on Saturday, October 28th. It will be at the Galloways 4 Wheel Drive 25th Annual Truck Show. Entry Fees are $20 for the first class, $15 for the second, $10 for the 3rd and $5 for the 4th. If you are eligible and want to pull more than 4 classes all additional classes will be FREE. This will not be a really large tournament. We are hoping for about 75 entries. We are giving away the really nice heavy metals that Bill Collins makes. Kevin Hicklin gave them away at the Palmetto Classic last year and I think maybe Nicole Cisco gave them away at her tournament the year before last. 1st - 3rd will all receive a metal. This should be some fairly cheap experience for an up and coming puller and we should have enough local guys to give most of you big boys some trouble.
Right hand - 154,171,189,209, Supers Left hand - 154, 171, 189, Supers
Weigh in's are 12 -2 (Tournament begins @ 3 pm.)
There will be about 75 show trucks, Back to back Grudge-Pulling and a horseshoe pitching contest as well. Drop me a note with your e-mail and I'll send you a flier or call me @ 704-791-3085.
Rick Laton
PS - Anybody willing to pull a Super Match with Paul Wather at this one? It doesn't have to be for a lot of money. Just something to make the tournament a little more interesting.

First of all Joey, it is independent. If you are going to staple that moniker underneath that goofy face of yours please spell it correctly. And Christian...I don't recall Paul asking anyone for a supermatch. I don't know if he can even make b/c his oldest son has football on Saturdays. And yes, in practice he rips my arms to shreds, eats them and then poops them all over the yard. PS. How's the arm feeling?

Steve,
You are the man. Thank you for posting the flier.
Erick,
I hope you and Johnny can make it. You have been promising to come for a while. It's way too close (miles) for you guys to be missing. I have been hearing some good things about you guys. Do me a favor, get a message to Dugan Merideth and Little Tucker that I've got 2 guys that want a piece of them. (Ryan Tucker and Chris Watkins). (I'm just stirring the pot- Don't anybody blow a fuse). We just got our new team shirts in. We had 26 of them. As far as I know, most everyone is planning on being there. Robert Plyer's kid is due that week so I'm not 100% sure on him. I'm going to try to list our team that I THINK will be there. No promise of course. Try to make it if you can.

Rick, I'll absolutely be there. Like you said, there's no excuse to miss a tournament in my own hometown. I missed the last one of these you had because I had to have an emergency appendectomy a week beforehand. So yeah, Johnny and I are definitely looking forward to it.

James: Gorilla Boy calls, talks and asks for them ALL the time. He did it yesterday too. I tell him to get a match through you.
Been training for 3 weeks now, eventhough I got the brace ( that I NEVER wore) off last Tuesday....LMAO!!!!! Start practicing in NOV.
