the reason that i do:to pump and make the muscles stronger,and also to support the joints that get so much pressure during armwrestling and static training.
statics;
at the same angle,endurance against a power without moving.highest level of continuity with the maximal strength.
maximal limits:%80-%90 10-20 seconds
the reason that i do:it helps me to keep my angles (that i need for armwrestling) solid during armwrestling.but neither dynamic or static trainings are enough to build the tendons and muscles that we need for armwrestling.these are assistant trainings.
table time:the goal is the bring our opponent's hand to the pin pad.there are certain groups of muscles that can be trained and developped only by armwrestling.there are some training methods that can train these muscle groups but there is no method that can train and develop these muscles groups together at same time other than armwrestling.to build this mould we need to understand and apply what we understand during table times.it will be possible for you to become a very good armwrestler when you understand this.otherwise you can only be a strong armwrestler who is not able to use what he has correctly.its you to become a great armwrestler as possible as if a person can become a good soccer player by only running.of course that we need physical strength but to use our strength in the way that we need for armwrestling we must care about our table time and think about it a lot to make our style without mistakes.and if you are serious about this sport,then being number one in the world should be your goal.everyone cant win at the same time,one wins and the rest loses.the secret to be one that wins is to make what you have more effective.
armwrestling is a war of two arms that are located in certain ways (depending on styles).some of the athletes make themselves out of certain angles instead of pulling in certain angles(usually toprollers),but they need to pin their opponent as their main goal.but only pulling back and depending on toprolling the hand puts them into bad positions whenever they cant toproll,and they normally lose because of not having a certain well trained angle to press his opponent to the pad.i prefer using my rotator in the way to unable my opponent's flexor instead of toprolling the hand of my opponent.because a defensive rotator is ready to finish the match right from the beginning.
armwrestling is a war of arms which are trained at the certain static angles.but we also have to train our arms in dynamic ways too,to make them stronger (to support our joints)and healthier (to do this sport longer).the tendons that are not supported by muscle strength gets injured much more easily.and these injuries makes us lose so much time (to heal up and get in form again).
a set of fingers to place on my opponent's hand as a roof,then a solid wrist to apply my side pressure on the hand to separate my opponent's hand(that i have got control with my fingers)from his shoulder .as i have written before,instead of toprolling my opponent's hand i prefer to unable his flexor to not have control on my arm,and build a wrist to control his rotator and experience this move till its perfect.to control,and not to be controlled.
an arm that doesnt have a strong and capable hand is same like a car which doesnt have steering wheel or doesnt have a driver.to me the solidness of the hand at the beginning position (of the match)is more important than the curling strength of the wrist flexor.you cant curl before the go but you can load before the go(not too much but you can).this is why first important is controlling and then curling.
use your flexor as much as you can during armwrestling.the best wrist training can be done by curling your opponent's rotator.because lifeless objects dont give us the same hardness that a real opponent gives.if our main goal is to be strong in armwrestling then i can say that there is nothing that we can use is better than a good armwrestling partner.our opponent's hand doesnt stay in our hands as helpless as the lifeless objects that we use to train our wrist.
when you curl your opponents forearm flexor make sure that you actually curl him to bring in your angle,not by forcing your arm front to slide your wrist unto his arm.
armwrestling=control.the hand is the key to have this control.during armwrestling,make sure to keep your hand and your shoulder to move parellel and at the angle to be able to use the most pressure you can put on your opponent's arm.
set your mind up to separate your oponent's hand from his shoulder to bring it down to the pin pad as fast as you can.armwrestling is an explosive power sport even there are so many necessary styles to do it.so the first hit that you will do after the go should be so strong and finishing.but the behind of this should be well trained too,to continue pulling effectively in the case of being stopped.
your target that you will apply your strength can be up to the style of your opponent.the two lowest fingers are very important during a deep curling.i personally use my fingers as a flat set on my opponent's hand.not by squeezing but as a flat roof.in this way i feel my wrist more free,stronger and faster to apply my side pressure. also more flat i use my fingers ,i feel the pressure closer to the center of my defending system.the strength of my fingers is becoming effective whenever they feel the pressure.the solidness of the wrist also is related with the strength of our front wrist.because to toproll or unable a wrist we must have control over the front wrist of our opponent.because if your hand cant stay solid enough on the front wrist of your opponent (because of the strength of your opponent's front wrist) then you cant use your forearm rotator in a very effective way.in short,you may not be able to use your forearm rotator without having a hand control.
